You're not even Canadian you Yank.

...So? Why shouldn't he celebrate a holiday even if he doesn't live in the country it is celebrated in? And is there something wrong with being a "Yank"...?

Happy Canada Day, everybody!

And to translate.

"Happy Canada Day, may every stereotypical maple syrup/Beer induced fits of hockey whilst monties combat in the legion of caribou tormenting the populace"

*blinks*

And Happy Birthday Canada. *smiles* I hope to be watching the fireworks from my coveted spot in the river valley. If not, Sunday night at my camp we're getting our own fireworks. *smile*

I ain't Canadian, but at a camp I went to through my church I was.... er.... representing Canada.since it's Olympics year, all the teams were countries. I was, you guessed it, MEXICO! Actually, I just wish that since they ended up getting 1st. I was really BRAZIL! They got second, and I'm really 3rd place, CANADA!

*tries to bribe church out of canadian flag*

I also got a CD and DVD out of said camp, so I don't care that much.

I don't have any Canadian shirts **frowns** but... I wore my Sex Pistols shirt today... it's very... British. **blinks** Which counts for nothing.
I did tell random people in a restaurant 'HAPPY CANADA DAY!' and wore maple leaves in my hair.

I was born in Canada, so I figure I'm Canadian to an extent.

Happy Birthday, birthplace.

It was also the Handover Day for HK (partly the only reason why I remember Canada National Day). Don't think anything interesting happened except there was a protest of sorts, but I don't think the protestors were sure about what they wanted.

On the other hand, I baked brownies!

So has anybody in this thread other than Canada and one other person even Canadian?

I was working all day and serving snooty british and american tourists, so it wasn't very festive today, but I did get to see the fireworks at Ashbridges Bay in Toronto :)

Although I'm not Canadian, I hope everyone has a happy Canada Day. And happy July fourth to others who celebrate it. Have fun watching the fireworks. :)
