Cant be bothered to quote, but re the skirts in the rain thing - i pretty much live(d) in skirts and boots when it's rainy (and yes, i meant when i was in england too) - it's better than jeans when you get wet ankles all day!!! and your legs get no more wet than they would in trousers.

That's me holding my niece Mary Jane(born last night)--around me are my sister, my brother, and my sister-in-law(the mother). We make up five of the six people in the world with our last name(my other sister had to leave just a few minutes before). Mary Jane's full name has twelve syllables, poor girl.
