a day in the life of philip davis

Wed Sep 22, 2004 9:32 pm

has been one of "those" days today :(
firstly, my shoe laces break as i get on the bus, not bad in itself but when you consider nowhere in chesterfield (where i live) sells my size shoes (13, UK) you see the rub of such a thing.

next, halfway to college, and the bus sputters and stops (at a bus stop thankfully) driver gets out and looks at the engine.
one loudy uttered obsenity later and everyones ferried off to wait for the next one, good job i caught the early bus eh?

then came science...well nothing much except its biology and i hate biology.
(had a good conversation with somone mind, shall leave it at "shes not my gendre" and you can figure that one out for yourself)

lunch.. well spent lunch in the computer room being scared rigind by my friends hideous spelling.
"U" would be prefferably to his .. well, scrawl.

next we have maths  why does fate want to mock me?
i do the exams perfectly, but NOOO coursework always gets me and im redoing maths again (i wish dry smilie was back, oh well ¬_¬)
still, another convo with afformentioned girl and were good.

after college i spend three hours in town doing an awful lot of nothing, insulting short guy, and generally getting on my friends nerves by singing something or another.

in retrospect why am i posting this?
well im sick of birthday threads for a start, and im in an unusally great mood, so dont go spoiling it.

so a point...umm, what makes youre day?
for me, simply talking to said girl (not naming any names, because with my luck shes here and is iashi or somthing)
what single, most basic thing can turn the worst of days (biology AND maths, yeauch) into a great one, and for me, im retiring to my sleep hole.

edit: just noticed i put my name up ther...oh well, if anyones stupid enough to admit knowing me they deserve everything they get.

Relax buddy. Simply calm down and relax. You're stressing way too much about this, just lie down on the couch or bed and listen to some calm music, that should lighten your mood up a bit.

Hey thats cool, I know a Philip Davis. I don't mean your days cool or anything, just that you have the same name as a guy I know.
Tomorrow will be better, and if not some day will be.

I'll be hoenst: I don't really know. I'm so nervous my nervous system goes freakily nervous! I try to listen to music to sooth me, forget. It'd be great to be a cloud, drifting in the sky, without a wonder in the world.

While I never thought about it, probably music or video games. Perhaps its returning home from a building full of loud, immature people to somewhere much more serene. There are probably many things that I do to make my day better without realizing it.

Well, I just about got trampled by my horse twice today... the thing that brightened up my day was coming home to a clean house, and my boyfriend had tea and lunch ready. :)

Err....your shoelaces broke and that's bad because nowhere sells your size shoes? Does nowhere sell shoelaces on their own either? O.o

Maths coursework is one of the most pointless exercises I've ever met in my existence. Ever. WHAT IS THE POINT!?
Why do I have to count length of random words taken from a sample from different newspapers and compare them etc etc? Why do I have to write pages and pages testing different theories when I already KNOW that with a given perimeter the shape with the largest area is a circle! >.<

nah got shoelaces, but my shoes are rather old, and i cant walk in puddles (a favorite of mine) because, well, i get soaked.

as for maths coursework, really didnt make sence to me either, but at college its only worth 20% of the total grade anyways, so im good (as opposed to 50% at school  )

*still in good mood*

Maths coursework at school isn't 50% of your grade, it's 20% O.o

I can't walk in puddles or anything in my trainers because of huge holes near the soles, but i still went orienteering in them.
