Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

I go swimming a lot, and for the first time, I got water clogged in my ear... badly. Now I can barely hear in my right ear (that rhymed!) and I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the water out. I've tried everything... sleeping with my head tilted so the water would come out, putting weird oil down my ear to make it come out (I wish I could describe that better), and it just won't come out. Does anybody have any idea of how I can get the water out of my ear? The entire right side of my head has been feeling clogged since yesterday afternoon.
I wish I could explain this better, but I have no clue of what the technical term for this is... and well, I guess I have no clue about any of it. If you can help, please post.

Only thing I've ever done for that is to just wait it out. :-\

Q-Tips maybe?

I get that a lot... I hate it too. *pats softly*
I normally shake my head around, tilt it and generally look/act like i'm crazy when i've got water in my ears. If you have it in there for too long, couple days, you may want to phone a physician or something... to see if they've got any suggestions. Water in your ears for too long can cause infections, and that can be a very nasty thing.

Ok, here's a tip: lean your head to the side, the ear that's clogged facing downwards. Then start hopping. You might want to do this privately, seeing as it may look a little wierd  Anyway, I do that, and it usually works. You'll hear a whooshing sound and all the water will rush out.
If that doesn't work, try running - fast. I've done that once, and the water went flying behind me and my ear was all right again XD

I do both of those methods as well (the first one only because my parents introduced me to that).
It looks REALLY weird, but it does work.

That happened to me the other day, and it's happened a fair few times. Yup, I just wait it out. Right now, my left ear is fuzzy.

Take a tissue paper and twist it so that it becomes a tiny rope. Insert it in ear and let the tissue soak the water.
Cotton buds are good too...

I usually lean my head to one side and softly pat on the other side (which makes the water come out of the lowest ear)... That sounded quite weird :?

I tilt my head and jump. XD Works eventually, if not right away.

That's what I'd do. I'd also tilt my head to the side a bit while trying that method.

Gotta be careful though, cause poking your ear can make you a bit fuzzy for a while too

Ok ... put your hands over your ears ... push your ears ...it will feel like suction, do this for 2 minutes, then lean as far as you can to which ever side the water is stuck in ...

Yeah. Your eardrum is actually closer than you think to the outside.
