Everyone has mentioned many important things, but I'll have to put the automobile high on my list. Can you imagine walking or riding a bike everytime you needed to go somewhere? =o

Oh, wow. Didn't really think about that one. I can't imagine living down here in the South without it. o_O

Same here... It didn't even cross my mind.
My air conditioner is on practically 24 hours a day....
But I bet none of you live in a desert >.<

Other then that, I'd say the computer, the internet, and the ipod.
Even before the Ipod was invented, I dreamed about being the first to create something like it.

Definately the internet! Heh, and the air con. It gets hot here in Las Vegas!

I think electricity in general is the best invention of the human race, without just all things listed above would be near impossible, unless you had a steam powered air conditioner or something, steam powered guitars...hmm.

The sewer system.

As well as air con (what Hpfan36 said), books, computers, internet, and muffins.

The needle threader.
Best. Invention. Ever.
It makes threading a needle a cinch, and it's such a simple thing.

You mean generating and using electricity? Electricity was always there.

I'm going to have to interpret this as my favorite invention, not so much one that I find practical/useful daily.
It'd have to be the spork. Seriously. Sporks are so awesome! You can eat noodles with one utensil!
