Lammas, normaly celebrated on 1st august;
Lammas is the festival of the dyeigna riseing god. it's other name of Lughnasdah comememoratesthe death and subservent resurrection of the celtic sun god Lugh. Lamas is celebrated at the first of the harvest and is a festival strongly linked to stories of saacrifice as well as death. :)

Is Linux A Finnish Conspiracy? ;) Linus wrote the kernel, which generally means not the front-end that people most of the time see.

Anyhow, it's about celebrating Lammas, not Linux. Similar as they may be, do stay on that general topic.
