I can't remember were I read it but:

Kids who eat their bogies tend to be mor healthier than kids who don't. Most kids nowadays do, but as we get older, the demands of our social livess stop us from doing it so kids are generally more healthy.

Can I say:EWWWWWWWWWW!!!

I've heard this before. Gross, but true...I think. I think it's something to do with the immune system, it'll adapt to being immune to whatever bad stuff's trapped in mucus. Just a guess.

[edit] Wow, I've been making a lot of spelling mistakes today. -_-

Now that I think about it, that does makes sence. Not everything that gets inside you manages to make you sick, it's often trapped in places like you nose before it can get that far. I was originally thinking it had to do with nutrients gained by eating the stuff.

The concept is still disgusting though.

That makes more sense. Still icky though. Is snot now going to become a form of vaccine? :roflol: Hmm...

You know...(not that I promote eating the content of your nostrils), your nose is connected to your throat. Phlegm is basically snot dripping the wrong way and we've all had that.

Its quite plausible really, continuous self vaccination to all the bugs that you inhale.
