I did, and I'm not trying to sound stupid or anything, but how would they know what "bigfoot's" DNA is? Just that it'd be different from any other DNA known to man or what?

Well, if the corpse were Bigfoot(for real), it wouldn't be so close to opossum DNA. It would probably be apelike, close to human/chimp/gorilla DNA, but with some of its own uniqueness.
