End of Summer

Well for those of us in the Northen Hemi, the end of summer is just around the corner. What have you done this summer that was noteworthy, or perhaps what do you still hope to accomplish.

I've: gotten and watched a ton of anime (the full list will be posted once school starts); gone to a baseball game with my friends; did the karate club for a bit; visited family; redid my entire room; played countless hours of video games; ran out of (non graphic novel) reading material; and dipped further and further into being 100% not in touch with reality (only about 70-75% right now).

I have to: register for classes; do a couple weeks of summer research; watch more anime; catch more Pokemon; play more video games; read more graphic novels; and be 80+% detached from reality by the time school starts.

Why being out of it is a good thing is because I have noticed that the less I care and more I live in fantasy, the happier I usually am. Now if you excuse me, I have to go back to talking to my plushies.

I had a full-time job. It's reinforced my desire to stay in school until I'm old enough to receive Social Security.

I still have a month to go.

I didn't accomplish very much at all. :(

1. Got a part-time job at McDonalds.
2. Completed the Biology 12 online course.
3. Watched 4 seasons of the Office.
4. Watched some more movies...?
5. Started reading again!

I actually did something constructive this summer (OMG NO WAI).

I went to a semi-camp course thingy for a week.
Also, I'm hosting my first WW game at the moment.

I still need to: Catch more Pokemans, train the ones I already have. I ended up next to Giratina while randomly walking around the secret parts after defeating the E4. -_-

Let's see... the highlights of my summer have been finding a new full time job and finding a new apartment to move to (yay for a 2 mile commute to work!)

What I still have left to do:
-figure out my benefits for my new job and which ones I want to take advantage of
-pack all my stuff to move
-actually move
-play more Maple Story

I didn't get as much done as I was hoping to. :( I was hoping to find a fulltime job but instead had to resign myself to the two part time jobs I've been working for the past 4 years summertimes. I was hoping to get into better shape, etc etc.

I DID lose weight and get into better shape, just not as much as I was hoping for. :P I played through Zelda (Ocarina of Time) and a few other N64 games. A few ps2 games, ds games, etc.

I also started to get supplies together for student teaching in the fall. :P

What? It's almost over? Oh boy. I still have to:
1. Go to tennis camp for a week,
2. drive out to my grandmother's for a few days,
3. have my physical,
4. potentially get an MRI,
5. finish two books for school, one of which is the epitome of monotony,
6. make sure my friend KNOWS that he has to read said book so that he doesn't end up dropping out of our history class,
7. finish my student council's t-shirt (zilary and WIS: I'm working on it, honestly!),
and probably some more.

But on the bright side, some of the good things that already happened this summer: I...
-took an AWESOME class at RISD
-started working out
-went to DC
-got to see old friends
-got a Mac <3

I'm exhausted from just typing that.

Ooooh, RISD! That's quite nice, Byakuya San!
(The "Harvard of art schools" as they call it. I got flat out rejected. :P )

What I did this summer?
-Repainted both exterior and interior of my house
-Went to the art museum
-Saw lots of movies
-Directed a week-long church camp (definitely highlight of my summer)
-Lounged around the rest of summer
Productivity: 10%

What I still need to do?
-Continue moving junk from my garage back into my house due to painting
-Visit UT (where about 90% of my friends go)
-Exercise?
-Get ready for another year of college

Uggghhh I dont want summer to end quite yet :(

But anyway...I accomplished:
-another week at church camp :D [highlight of summer]
-got a different car
-hung out with some friends at least 3 times
-my cousin came and spent a week
-Survived the first 2 days of band camp [i was sick the last day of the first week]
-Read a few books

I still need to:
-Finish school shopping
-make an appointment to fix my messed up schedule :x
-Survive band camp next week
-Give myself a pep talk about going back to school lol.

I'm probably forgetting something on both lists.

Urgh you guys got summer!! We're in the middle of winter. So... very... cold. I want to cry. :(

Well, I just finished my summer course about two weeks ago so my summer vacation just started.

And it's also ending September 4th.

So what have I done?

Studied and worked as a summer student.

Do you mean the summer season or the summer holiday/vacation? Because the season isn't exactly ending, and neither is the holiday. o_O

Well, here the summer vacation period is coming to a close as schools are starting in the next two weeks. The actual season doesn't end until mid-September, though in Florida, the season doesn't end ever... it's summer year-round!

Florida is a place I think is cold.
Damn desert weather! *shakes fist*

As for summer, I pretty much didn't do anything since it's too hot and humid to go outside during the day. I just read books, watched movies and played world of warcraft.
What I still should do though is get back in the pool and start training even if it's without a coach.

eugh, I'm so unfit. Damn you summer time!
