pip, you look so much like a student I taught a couple years ago. How do the braces feel? And what did you end up doing with your hair (remember that poll you had)?

They feel... weird. They don't hurt too badly, although they did a little yesterday, and they're uncofortable. It almost feels like I'm wearing a mouthguard all the time
Although one part keeps catching on the inside of my cheek, which does hurt.
I haven't actually done anything to my hair yet. I plan to get it cut at some point, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. (it was in a ponytail with some falling out in that pic)

You should get some wax for them.You should ask your orthodontist next time.I put wax on my braces all the time!

Is it pathetic that the first thing I noticed in Dan's picture is what I think are three Harry Potter books (immediately to the right of the Douglas Adams book)? I can't even read the titles or author, but I immediately went "OOH THREE HP BOOKS". I only recognize the color scheme, which is slightly pathetic anyway, as I've only ever seen the front covers of non-US editions, and yet I somehow managed to recognize that.
