It's about how you feel about your parents.

Gotta love those genes.

They feed me.

My brother's awesome, but I can't stand my parents at all. My mom thinks she knows everything and refuses to believe that I can take care of myself (I'm 15), and whenever I try to make her see my side of things, she starts crying and my dad yells at me. Both my parents want me to start homeschooling, which would absolutely kill me because I couldn't stand being trapped in the house all day with them. I at least want Megumi (my internet computer) back up in my room, so I wouldn't have to see my mom at all when she stops working.
And the less said about my extended family, the better. -shudder-

Eh, the choices are pretty one-sided and extreme.
It's neither love or hate. It's pretty much in the middle. They're fine, but sometimes my mother pulls her "I'm right because I'm your parent." routine even though she's... usually wrong, she also never listens to reason purely on the basis that she's older, which is ignorant. Other than that (and the annoying griped constantly) everything is fine.
I'm grateful, I guess I can leave it at that.

Uh, I like them, I guess xP Only I don't think they know that, because half the time I act like I can't stand them *shrug*

Since i'm adopted it's obviously not genes. I must admit these answers are fairly sterotypical and sided to those who aren't adopted/fostered. Which is... vaguely frustrating.
So I chose becuase they raised me well, but it's more to it then that. I love them, because they love me. They're my parents, my friends, and despite what I thought as a teen, they're normally right (and they get giggly/happy when I tell them that now).

ahoteinrun, I can understand how you feel. =(
Anyway, I didn't pick any option as I'm really not sure right now. My dad is really annoying me at the moment though, we don't really communicate very well, unfortunately...

Well it was only one choice that directly suggested genetic connection, and for some people that really is an answer. Sorry if I made you feel left out. =\ That wasn't the intention.

At times, I can't stand them.
They want me to be perfect. I'm not. It clashes..terribly.
