Anyway, I honestly think I don't want a pet anymore. I had indoor dogs and outside cats when I was growing up a loved them dearly, but now that I'm out in the real world, they kind of seem like a bit too much of a hassle. Plus, whenever I visit someone with animals now, I notice that their home usually smells like their pets. I prefer my apartment to smell like the cookies I bake entirely too often, not wet puppy or kitty litter.

Oh wait, I already have one. She's pretty cute. House-trained, wipes her mess up, performs mundane tasks etc, goes to school, doesn't smell like kitty-litter or wet puppies... Can and will talk, is polite...

I already have a dog, but I would like a cat aswell. Although I don't think they would get along well...

A snake. I already have a cat, dogs don't appeal to me but snakes just seem so interesting. However, I don't have the space, time nor money to take care of one properly.
