So much for a Senior "Committee"....

Fri Feb 11, 2005 8:16 pm

There is this one girl on it named Bianca who was appointed "Captain" because she ditches classes to help. Now lately she won't let me do ANYTHING, and this is going on with many other people. The teacher can't stop her, and she acts like she is better than our TRUE cpatain, Mrs. Zarrouk. She is so bossy and I don't know what to do?

Any suggestions?

Wait, why can't the teacher stop her? If it this is a school organised group than the teacher can stop her. I hate it when teachers stand back and do nothing. Whimps.

Anywho, I would tell her off. Something like this happened with me and I told the girl off and everything was fine from then on.

Thank goodness I homeschool now. I hated the politics at the public school. Why won't the teacher do anything about it? If this is supposed to be a committee then everybody should be doing stuff. If there are other committee members who feel the same way, you could confront the girl, or you could all "preasure" the teacher to do something about it.

I love our homeschool committee, all we got to do is make a list of what activities we want to do, the parents go over it and throw out any ideas that are absolutely impossible, we vote for our favorites from the new list, then sit back and relax while the moms organize everything for us.

I suggest not telling her off, but instead confronting her and telling her what's on your mind, but not in a mean way. If you're rude there is a very good chance she'll be rude back and not listen to you.

The problem is, she does so much work that the teacher can't afford to let her go. And everytime I try to talk to her:

"Shut up and go away."

Today, i was about to use the labtop when she suddenly pulled the charger plug and printer plug off. THEN she yanked it from my hands.

As I said, tell her off. Stand up for yourself. No one should treat you this way.

If the teacher won't do anything, get your friends together and aim for higher authority. I'm sure they'd know that she's skipping her classes to help out, and hopefully she'll be one of those people that breaks into tears if they get a detention.

Besides, if she's skipping her classes she mustn't be getting good grades, let alone a good rep. I'd see her repeating a year or two in the near future as well.

Amen. Tell her that this a committieee, that she is being an inmature little brat, and that the world doesn't revolve around her. If she still being a little brat, continue to tell her off. Your courage might encorge others.

True, but it won't remove her from power, especially if the teacher still stands by her like that.

Get the Principal than. No teacher should be blind to matters like this.

If what you say is so bad you obviously should alert the principal. The teacher may not realize how stupid they sometimes are. My teacher never shuts up about her ex marriages and so does my other one. They got divorced a total of 4 times. Trust me teachers can be stupid.

Exactly. The camel was a horse designed by commitee. *Distribute Chris for Emperor pamphlets*

Get everyone to leave and form a new commitee (if you have to use them).

But seriously, you need to stand up for yourself. You cannot let her treat you, or anyone else like that. She gets away with it because everyone lets her get away with it. Period.

Well then I say you all stage a coup. Overthrow her. I mean, you do want ti to be like real politics, don't you? So you act as the leader.
