Poo. I did a project on New Zealand in the fifth grade where I had to pretend to be a real Kiwi and make a scrapbook of my heritage. My partner ditched me, so I did most of it myself. Seriously--he said he'd find ancient Maori art, and he came up with clipart. That just proves how useful such "mental immersion" projects are.

As for the actual Kiwi-Chinese-Gooseberry-fruit, it makes my tongue tingle with an overload of ascorbic acid. Random fact: It's more commonly called a Kiwi and not a Chinese Gooseberry because some lady who decided to import it thought "Kiwi" was a snappier yet less foreign sounding name. She's trying to popularize fuzzy lychees now--fuzzy lychee being the literal translation from Chinese. I believe they go by the name of Rambutan now.
