Hey guys, most of us have been on vacations yes? What's your most memorable one that you would recommend? I'm thinking of going to The Copenhagen Business School this July to visit a friend then head over to Switzerland for some skiing but I'd love some ideas and hey, if you've been on any amazing trip, let me know!

Hold onto your seats people... the SL is back.

Dubai was awesome - I was quite young when I went there, but it's definitely made me want to go again sometime :)

I LOVED my trip to the UK last summer. We were in a group with people from my school and were gone for 16 days. We went to Ireland, Scotland, Wales (very briefly) and England.

Another trip I loved was when I went to Kauai (Hawaiian Island) with my family and my dad's family in July 2001. My grandma paid for everything. OMG...it is seriously the most beautiful place in the world.

I think my most memorable vacations have either been to Snowmass, Colorado (outside of Aspen) and Disneyworld. I'll be going to Florida again in April for a week, so that ought to be a great time, as I love Florida (and I'm hoping to move there)!

My trip back home last year, it was just before a whole lot of nastiness occured back home, and I stayed the night at a friend of the families, stayed up all night with her son and his friends as they got terribly drunk and I stood on laughing. ^_^

Course this wont help...
So, England, it's a lovely place.

I really liked Tokyo! That was my favorite place - that and Disney World, and Tokyo has a Disneyland in it, so it's perfect!

My favorite vacation wasn't actually a vacation (pilgrimage- we're Bahais, though I'm both that and agnostic, because I do believe in the principles of it), but my mother, sister and I went to Haifa, Israel in 2002. Absolutely amazing- I can't even describe how beautiful it is. We went to various shrines, but the the Shrine of the Báb and the terraces leading up to it are just... WOW. Breathtakingly gorgeous.

Seriously, google it or look it up on flickr.

(and besides, the food was good :P )

can't find the sig from this set, so instead, you get a <3 .

I went into my last trip (southern Hokkaido, northeastern Honshu) with low expectations and a reluctance to go, but came out loving it and wanting to stay longer. The food's amazing, the scenery's amazing (and I'm guessing even better in the winter than in summer), and if you're a fan of those onsen things, which I was too shy to go to, you'll like it more. Very relaxing, especially if you go to quiet areas outside of the cities, and there are some VERY blue lakes.

Dubai was amazing but I wouldn't recommend going there for another 5 years when most of the building work will be complete.

The Maldives is the most beautiful place I've ever been to. It's so serene and laid-back. It's stunning and pretty much the perfect relaxation holiday.

And Tunisia is awesome. I cannot begin to describe how fantastic it was there. The Madinas are brilliant!

I spent 3 days in Christchurch, it's like one enormous version of Palmerston North. Not that that means anything to anyone here. It has a huge park in the middle that takes like 30 minutes to walk across, and the entire city has excellent architechture, mostly Colonial wood and brick housing.
