"Welcome students to another exciting year at Hogwarts!" bellowed an elderly man, he smiled as he watched the hustle of a few students running to take their seats.

It was the first day of Hogwarts and once again, it was time for Dumbledore's annual speech. Dumbledore quickly cleared his throat and once again, began to speak, "I welcome all of you who are here for the first time, I welcome all of you who are returning to Hogwarts and of course, I welcome the wonderful staff,"

A roar of applause echoed in the Great Hall, many students were smiling, some were simply staring at the glamorous decorations hanging from the cieling, gleaming in the light.

"Thank you, thank you," said Dumbledore, nodding his head slightly, "However, things at Hogwarts this year will be slightly different to what your accustomed too,"

A few students were puzzled at this remark while others began to murmur.

"Quiet please," assured Dumbledore as he continued to explain, "The Ministry of Magic has alerted me that Hogwarts is in slight danger. But before you began to panic, please rest assured that the Ministry of Magic, your professors and I will make sure nothing happens to any of you,"

Dumbledore had stopped talking when he noticed a nearby student bending over their knees, it seemed as the girl was about to throw up.

"No need for that Mrs. Lee, you're perfectly safe at Hogwarts," Dumbledore spoke reassuringly.

The girl seemed a bit shocked that Dumbledore had suddenly spoken to her. She began to blush when she realised he was trying to prevent her from throwing up. Dumbledore simply smiled at her and carried on, "The Ministry of Magic has kindly sent us their finest Auror's, both of which graduated from Hogwarts at top honors, both Auror's will be patrolling along the hallways and if you feel a bit uncertain about anything, please inform them if they are nearby. If they aren't, go to the nearest staff member or myself,"

Various students looked at one another, they didn't seem to be understanding a word Dumbledore said.

"And with that I must say, I wish a successful year to all of you and I hope you have a good time at Hogwarts,"

With that remark, the students rose from their seats and began to assemble into their various houses before making their ways to the domitories.

Werewolf is back and this time, it's carrying a magical twist to it. Werewolf is at Hogwarts and you can expect many twists, roles and much much more!

What is Werewolf?

Werewolf is a strategic, cunning game which pits players ability to scheme and lie to the test. The point of this game is to kill the baddies (If you're bad, vice versa) before they kill you. Simple? Wrong.

What exactly do we do?

After you signup, you will be given a role which can vary from an ordinary student to Death Eater.

What is a role?

A role is your identity in this game. Each role comes with its own set of rules and limitations. For instance, the Death Eater role has the ability to kill someone each night whereas a simple student role has the ability to vote for someone to be executed (Executions and voting will be explained later). Once you have recieved your role, it's your job to keep it. You may NOT post your role on the main Werewolf thread but you may tell others your role in private -- Just be careful, you can never know if you're actually telling a Werewolf your role. If you choose to keep your role a secret than you have nothing to worry about.

After recieving your role, you can post on the main Werewolf thread and talk to your fellow players. Remember, some of them may be evil!

As said before, after recieving your role, you can post on the main Werewolf thread and talk to your fellow players. Once everyone in the game has posted once, you will have to vote for two people to have an execution.

What are executions?

Executions are solely made to lower the amount of players. Everyday the players can vote for someone who they think is suspicious. You are not required to vote but if you want to get ride of people who you find suspicious, I would suggest voting. In order to successfully execute someone, there has to be a majority vote (At least half of the votes must be for one person). To ensure that a majority is met, a certain amount of votes will lock an execution on the targetted person. For example,

Person A has 20 votes but only 13 were needed to obtain a majority, the other votes will simply lock all of the votes making that person certain to be executed. Once a vote on a certain person is locked, you will NOT be unable to unvote the person.

If a majority has not been made, someone *secret* will be able to decide who is killed.

Executions will occur at 9:00PM EST (6:00PM NST).

In order for an execution to be successful, players need to vote (It's not required though).

How do you vote?

You must post your vote on the main Werewolf thread. You must always bold your votes, if you don't, I may not catch it. To vote for someone you post the following,

Vote: Person A

If for any reason you do not want to vote for this person anymore, post the following,

Unvote: Person A

If for any reason you want to unvote someone and vote for someone else, post the following,

Unvote: Person A
Vote: Person B

You are allowed to vote for two people, but you are not allowed to use your two votes on the same person. You are NOT allowed to vote for yourself either. Just remember that you are not required to vote for anyone but if you want to execute a suspicious person, I suggest voting.

Executions will take place everyday at 9:00PM EST (6:00PM NST). Note that anything may happen in an execution. After the execution, at 9:30PM EST (6:30PM NST) night killings will occur.

What are night killings?

Night killings are any other deaths made by any roles, special powers, etc... Deaths caused by other players (Death Eaters, etc...) will occur every second day at 6:30PM EST (9:30PM NST). Note that anything may happen during night killings.

As night killings end, a new day will begin. This means a whole new ball game for some players.

Spells

Spells can be given to ANYONE. A Death Eater may be given a special power, a student may be given a spell, anyone may be given a spell. Spells usually have limited use. Limited use meaning only being able to use the power once. Rarely you will have a spell which will have multiple uses.

Like roles, spells CANNOT be discussed on the main Werewolf thread. If they are discussed, the power will dissapear.

Please note that roles and spells are completely different things. You are not required to have a spells but you are required to have a role.

Executions occur everyday at 9:00PM EST (6:00PM NST).

Night killings occur everyday at 9:30PM EST (6:30PM NST).

Rules

1. You may NOT post your role in the main Werewolf thread. If you do, you will be modkilled immediately.

2. You may NOT reveal your role on this thread but you may lie about it.

4. You may NOT reveal any spells which I have given you on this thread.

5. You may NOT vote for yourself at all during this game.

6. You may NOT quote any PM's/Private Conversations/etc... you have with me at all on this thread. At the same time, you may NOT quote any PM's/Private Conversations/etc... you have with anyone else unless they give you consent on this thread.

7. You must be active. You do not need to post like 5000 posts but please try and be active. If you are not active, you will be modkilled. Players unactive for 3 days will be modkilled and replaced.

8. If you for some reason cannot post for a while (Due to personal reasons, school, etc...) please inform me beforehand.

9. Please note that I DO have a life and that I may be a little late on executions if school work comes in the way.

10. Monique will be helping me to run this game. If I am unavailable for a while, Monique will take over. You will than send all your PM's, questions, etc... to her. If an event like this happens, we will inform you on the thread.

"Headmaster, we must alert you of something," spoke the silver-robed Auror who walked into the office.

Dumbledore rose from his seat and gestured for the Auror to sit down. The Auror moved his way to the chair and sat down, a bit tense.

"W-W-We found a student today, he was found dead," stuttered the Auror, now sweating, "He was found out to be working for He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and a Dementor was instantly summoned and killed the boy," explained the Auror.

Dumbledore looked alarmed, he moved silently in his seat and shook his head, "Who gave the orders for the Dementors to enter Hogwarts?".

"That was the Ministry," the Auror said sharply.

Dumbledore shoke his head, he seemed agitated, most likely due to the recent killing of Hagrid and now this.

"I shall have a word with the Ministry," he responded, finally taking a seat in his chair.

"No, no. I'll do that for you, the Ministry tends to over-react to things. They meant well, they ju--." but the Auror was cut off by Dumbledore.

"Killing a student is much more than an over-reaction Mr. Myke," spoke Dumbledore, his voice was very stern.

"I-I know,"

"Who was the student?" asked Dumbledore,

"Gregory Goyle," stated the Auror, he seemed to have stopped sweating.

"Mr. Goyle was a follow of Voldemort?" questioned Dumbledore (The Auror shuddered at the mention of the name)

"Yes, the Dementor's took his life away however, therefore I don't think all is lost," said the Auror, trying to repress a smile.

"I suppose so, but he was just an innocent boy. He probably didn't know what he was doing but, what's done is done. Make sure no Dementor's arrive again," ordered Dumbledore, he looked up at the Auror as the Auror stood up and nodded.

The Auror left the office, feeling a bit relieved.

What You Do:

1. You are part of "The Trio". You don't have a very good reputation among the other houses but to the Slytherin house, you are the team to be worshipped. Each night you must send me a list of four people before Execution to kill. Considering you don't have the courage to kill anyone yourselves, you will send a package to your intended victim and once they open it, they will be killed instantly. Remember, only a person who is alive and unaffected AFTER the execution can die.

2. Whoever received the individual role of Malfoy must be the one to send in the list for each night. If they are unable to send me the list, they must inform me of this and who will be sending it in instead. In the event Malfoy is killed, one of the remaining members may take over. Please PM me immediately once a leader has been chosen or when anything regarding that subject is brought up.

3. You will be each supplied with a 50% shield which will decrease 5% each day. If you are targetted, I will randomize the amount of power of the attack against you and if it less than 50%, whoever is attacked will have that percentage subtraced from their shield making their shield less strong than it was before. If the attacker's attack is stronger, than whoever is attacked will die.

4. If any of your roles are asked to be revealed, the part before the dotted lines will be shown. Your individual roles will remain secret.

5. You may vote on the main Werewolf thread.

6. Please put your role name in the title as it can easily get mixed up with someone else's list.

1. Once in this game, you may raise everyone in your team's shield (Malfoy, Crabbe and yourself) by 30%. However, this can only work if all of your shields are below 30%. If you choose to do this power when only your shield is below 30%, nothing will happen.

A sudden burst of applause was awared to Hermione Granger as she walked from the front of her class to her seat, her Transfiguration of a rat to a bird presentation went very well. Snickers were heard from the Slytherin side of the room however Hermione simply ignored it and took her seat.

"Good job Hermione. What a wonderful presentation, 10 points to Gryffindor!" said Professor McGonagall happily, "You may now leave, remember we still have a few presenations left tomorrow!"

Severus Snape was humming as he walked forward to his office, it was a most depressing tune but nonetheless, Snape was actually humming. He walked towards his office door and suddenly stopped. He heard loud noises, a pot breaking, a potrait being ripped, what was happening inside? Snape entered his classroom and saw Marcus Flint throwing a piece of his books about the Dark Arts around as if they were nothing.

"WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS GOING ON MR. FLINT?!" bellowed Snape, a boil was being formed on his head.

Marcus immediately froze, he was caught by his teacher -- the head of his house. Marcus laughed nervously and walked towards Snape (He walked very slowly mind you).

"I-I-I'm sorry Prof-Prof-Professor, I was jus--" but he was cut off by the ill-tempered Snape.

"You were just leaving. 50 points from Slytherin. If I see you doing this one more time, I'll have you expelled!" yelled Snape as Marcus nodded and fled out the door.

"Where's Malfoy?" asked Pansy Parkinson, she seemed to have a very worried look on her face.

"Why?" asked Crabbe, raising his eyebrow.

"Because," she put great emphasis on 'because', "Because Snape just took 50 points away from us due to that stupid nitwit Flint. I need to tell Malfoy, he has a right to know," she said.

Crabbe give a muffled chuckle, he rolled his eyes and said, "He's not here,"

Pansy shook her head, where was Malfoy?

"Headmaster! Headmaster!" barged in a woman who wore a tight, pink robe as she stumbled over the Headmaster's stairway.

Dumbledore lifted his head up, he seemed to have been in deep thought, "Yes, what is it? And are you alright?"

"Yes, I am" she scoffed as she regained her balance and ran to Dumbledore's desk.

"Please take a seat. And a deep breath," he said calmly as he gestured for her to sit down.

"No, no" she said, breathing heavily, "Neville...Is...Dead,"

"Excuse me? Mr. Longbottom is what?" questioned Dumbledore, slowly rising from his chair.

"He's dead! He was found with marks all over him. The Ministry has concluded there were that of a Werewolf," she said.

"Fenrir Greyback," Dumbledore stated.

The woman nodded, "Exactly what we were thinking,"

"This is terrible, we must do something, we must send these students home," Dumbledore said, as he motioned around his desk to get to his office door.

"I'm afraid that's impossible Headmaster, we can't interrupt their education. This is simply one student death, we won't lose anyone else, I promise," she pleaded.

Dumbledore stiffened, his eyes were of the darkest and angriest the woman had seen, she was quite intimidated by them.

"Fine," Dumbledore said as he made his way to his chair and sat down, "Make sure his grandmother is notified, I wish to speak to her,"

The woman nodded and walked out of the room, she limped her way back, an injury sustained from the stairway.

What You Do:

1. You are a very forgetful person therefore your Granny's Remembrall is a very useful item to you. Every night, you must send me a list of four people on whom you want to remember something about. You will be given a random scenario involving the person and you'll be able to see where they are and what they're doing. However, you must send me this list BEFORE execution and your memory will be given to you after Night ends.

2. Dumbledore has spoken to you about the three Death Eaters on the loose, however, one of them is Bellatrix Lestrange. She has said she wants to "take you out" personally and therefore Dumbledore has allowed you to protect yourself with a special spell called Sectusempra which will create a deep cut in the intended victim and possibly kill them. However, Dumbledore will NOT allow you to leave the school or go on prowls to hunt down Bellatrix Lestrange unless he is absolutely certain you know where she is. Therefore, every second night I will send you a clue on who Bellatrix Lestrange is (Which PPTer has the Bellatrix Lestrange role). If you feel that you know who exactly Bellatrix Lestrange is, PM me with a name and I will kill them. If they are not Bellatrix Lestrange, they will NOT die. If they are Bellatrix Lestrange, they will die. You may only get the chance to kill her once! Make it a good guess!

Keith died, which is terrible. A good thing to have around, pretty funky role too. Malfoy is missing, so he is either hiding, or doing an action which would prevent him from killing with a package. This action i believe will help boost malfoy or something along those lines.

The word of Neville's death had suddenly surfaced Hogwarts, however Hagrid's death seemed to have been quieted down. Professor Snape said to the student's he was feeling a bit sick and this is why he had not been seen lately.

Harry, Ron and Hermione knew this wasn't the truth as they went down to Hagrid's hut and he wasn't answering the door. He'd surely tell Harry, Ron and Hermione he was sick.

Where was he?

"Where is George?" asked Ginny as she made her way to the Gryffindor common room, she seemed a bit uneasy after finding out that Neville had been murdered.

"I don't know. He said he'd meet me for breakfast but I haven't seen him since last night," explained Fred, who had a confused expression on his face.

"Well, he's going to miss his class if he doesn't come soon," Ginny said, looking around as if George was going to pop out in a second.

"George is in too much trouble as it is, Madame Pomfrey found out it was us who sent Firenze the fainting fancy," laughed Fred.

Ginny hissed at this remark, "You guys should know better!". She quickly hurried into the common room, asking the Fat Lady to close once she went through as Fred was being rude.

"Blimey," Fred said as the Fat Lady refused to open to him, "She's gone bonkers".

*sighs in relief* Finally, got through all the pages. Sorry for inactivity, everyone, I've started school and have homework and *gasp* sleep to worry about. ;P

I wonder how many death eaters there are. Since Fenrir Greyback has killed two people by himself, I think he's just a one man team. I wonder if there's another team of death eaters that hasn't killed yet? Maybe all of them are in this game. That would be... interesting, I suppose. Not good at all, but interesting. We'll see.
