For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Okies.. I spent most of today at the shelter so...
2 and a half hours cleaning out and cleaning off all the cages. A stinky, nasty, vomit-inducing job, but nonetheless rewarding when it comes down to it.
Another 2 hours playing with the animals.
Also, I went over to a friends farm and helped the farrier, but I suppose that would be more for the farrier than for the horses, so I'm not going to put time on that

I missed 2 days worth of log because I was the last responder O,O
So...
Yesterday I spent thirty minutes walking Wolfie the first time, and about fifteen the second. Also spent time playing with Lucky- I'd say about 10 minutes. Standard 5 minutes feeding.
Today I played a LOT with Lucky, approx. 30 min. And hugged and kissed and brushed Shmoo for... hm... I'd say 20 minutes. I worked on the command "stay" with Wolfie for around ten minutes - he's getting very good at it! (Next comes heel... I hope!) Plus I put on the plastic Husky nose and wrestled with him... gaah, how long was that? I'd say 5 minutes.
Do your local shelter things have centres for small pets like rabbits and gerbils? Mine does... There was nothing there though... too bad... I would have liked a ferret. They're like small, long cats!

Do you go out and kill the animal yourself without a gun or machine? Do you skin it yourself? Do you rip the meat with your teeth? No? Then it's not natural.
Also, look at a cat's or dog's teeth. They're teeth are much sharper then our's and they're meant to eat meat. Our "canine" teeth aren't very sharp at all.
Yes, animals eat other animals, but they're teeth are very sharp, they're claws are strong and very sharp, and they're naturally very fast. Humans nails are weak and our teeth aren't very sharp compared to a cat's.

Some people do all of those. o, its natural for them but its not for us? No, animals were made to be eaten.
Everyone passes this off as a nonsencical piece of giberish, but the pigs would be dead if everyone was a vegetarian, all the cows would be too. Same with meat chickens!

Pigs might not be tame, however, we would still want milk and eggs. I do!
I'm not a vegetarian because I'm not an adult yet. When I'm done growing I probley will become one. I'm to skinny anyway. Only people who are not very picky can be vegetarians, and I'm pretty picky.

I'm 14, skinny, and very picky..I'm still a vegitarian.
Just because some people do it doesn't mean that they are trying to convert you to it, nor does it mean that you need to put them down for it.
I'm a vegitarian for my own reasons and those of you who aren't, aren't for your own reasons. 'nuff said
On to time.
On wednesday I played with my friends dog (chiuaua [sp?]) for about 15 min. I took my dog out and fed my pets, that took about 10 min. thursday I fed animals and that took like 5 min. ( I had to put more food into the container) and today I fed and took out my animals and that took like 5 min.

i like the petco near me its nice and clean and all the pets have TONS of room and they let us play with them

the petclub is awful though they've got deadfish in the aquariams.. so gross.. i think its someones choice what they eat i don't particularly like meat but i'm not against it either.. what does skinny have to do with anything? i'm skinny and i'm not a vegetarian while some ppl are vegetarians and still weigh "more than average"

When you're underweight, it's not healthy to have a major diet change- and vegetarianism is known for causing weight loss.
Lessee... yesterday I walked Wolfie around 20 minutes, played with Lucky (I have the cuts to prove it x.x) for around five, and the standard 5 min feedings. Will record today later.

Thats why I said meat chickens. And Ok, I admit, dairy cows would be alright too.
As for time, I spent about an hour yesterday walking a dog with my friend.
Then I spent the usual 5 mins feeding/watering, 20mins of attention, and about 45mins giving it a bath.
Oh, then since in the morning my cat comes into my room, I spent about half an hour petting it, and getting bit by it. So more or less playing with it:P

Blah... forgot to record yesterday. Yesterday I walked wolfie on one of the family walk things for about 30 minutes, and took him down to the riverside so he could swim a bit for about 10 combined minutes (we went to the river lots of times). Standard 5 minute feeding, and about 5 minutes stroking Lucky- Wolfie had scared him and he foofed his tail up to look big.
Now that I think of it, Pounds *has* become a rather boring topic... ah well...

This hasn't been very active lately. :/
Buuuuut, I have new weekly topic. PET PICTURES! That's right, post any picture you have of your pets. If you don't have any pets of your own, post a stuffed animal pictures.

I'll be posting one of mine shortly.
EDIT: Well, I can't find a picture of my dog, Kevin, so here's a picture of a stuffed animal of mine (next to it is my friend's). Yeah, it's childish, but I'm obsessed.

I have another picture of it, too, but it has my cousin in it and I don't think she'd be happy with me if I posted her picture on the internet.

Oh, he's so cute, Dying to Live! He's a Bichon Frise, right? I love Bichons... they're such beautiful dogs.
Fri Aug 13, 2004 11:19 pm
Err... no he is a mix of a whole different bunch of breeds..I dont even know them all..
The bad part about it is that part of him is poodle and poodles live longer than most so part of him is dying fast and the poodle inhim is still ready to live..it's so sad..

Awww! Such a cute dog, I was thinking Bishon too. But then I thought that he looks like my pomeranian-poodle. So I was lost and confused.
I'll post a pic of my doggy later, same with my cat.
Anyways...
2 hours working these pigish horses today.
20 mins walking dog.
15 mins playing with dog.
15 mins playing with cat.
