To all of those interested in joining, there are no sign ups. You can just start playing right off the bat. If you need additional help, I am here most of the time and more than willing to try to help as much as possible.
Story as of now:
GM takes to the field once more. All of the fighting stops. Even the Armos Knight does not attack. Needless to say, the Turks heal again for +2 HP.
GM: I can’t believe it. Seventy-one rounds. Last time we reached that high, Roy was crowned as our new champion. The time before that, Mewtwo crushed a horde of Yoshis. And who even knows how many rounds it took Samus to defeat Ness, let alone win! We are not even at half the number of the total players! There have been two Dark Troopers, a Guard Armor, Giga Koopa, some Armos and a mess of Koopalings to boot. And that doesn’t even include this Wednesday! This game has had its ups and downs; comings and goings; peaks and valleys; but it has hung in there through thick and thin. Even if there are a lack of events, this game will continue to be here, hanging on, proving that it is a valid contender. We are here for the fans and will always be here for them. This game is for them. Fight on!
To celebrate, Yuna frees Pippi. Pippi Metronomes a Poison Gas attack that deals -2 damage to Cloud, Roy, Falco and Shadow.
0500/1700 Rule: Regardless of when the last update occurred, you may make actions
after 5AM/PM your time zone. There is no need to wait for an update to make an action, but it is recommended. Any actions that break this rule will not count as a legal action and will be promptly (eventually) pointed out. If you miss one of the posting periods, you will not get an extra move. I will allow posts +5 minutes in so you don’t have to rush your action.

Hyrule: +80 points - Magic Sack - Members may use any weapon unlimited times (weapon changes user after each use unless user can do unlimited attacks) (Check item guide or with the GM for items)
Independent: +0 - None (duh, they have no team)
Kongo Jungle: +20 - Kongo Jungle: Monkey Friends - When a member is attacked, the attacker receives a -1 damage counterattack for every -2 damage dealt to member (counterattack is rounded down)

Sephiroth: +40 - Sephiroth: Summon Sephiroth - Either: a Guard Armor or Dark Trooper appear; or Sephiroth appears for the round and deals up to -20 damage distributed among the remaining characters.
Sonic: +50 - Sonic: Hyper Sonic Speed - Members cannot be attacked for the rest of the round. Members may still attack.
Square Enix: +100 points - Square Enix: Job Change - Members may use any Dressphere that is currently not being used (Check Dressphere guide or with the GM for Dresspheres). Counts as a weapon action
Versus: +40 - Versus: Adrenaline Rush - Members may make unlimited actions. Special users may use their special twice (any given player may only use the special once)

Round 71 Announcements:
1:
Both Brackets are Active!
2: Help save SG-1! Show Sci-Fi Channel we love our first and best Stargate. (There are petitions floating around somewhere. I know I signed one).
3: I call on all current players to drum up support for this game as much as they can. Thank you.
4: Since school has started, there might be a slight craziness with the update posting. This time it will be later that usual. More info as it develops.
5: The Turks are back! Yay! Please be nice to them
6:Since Christopher and stinkyllama are our biggest regulars and since stinkyllama is sans internet for a little while, I may skim back ‘stuff’ for the game a bit unless some of the past regulars play more or return or new players join.
7: Reorganization: Put the characters in order of their appearance from oldest to newest.
8: Reorganization note: This is the last reorganization of the game. Next Sunday, Bracketing will be dropped.
9: Faction note: Sonic and crew cannot be attacked, but they may still attack, as seen by Sonic’s special this round.
10: Llama update: She needs a new computer before she can get back to PPT again, unless she can remember her password. If deemed okay by the other players, I would like to relay her actions to help keep the game going at a little faster pace.
11: In celebration for breaking our past record number of rounds, many good prizes are handed out!
12: In Pit vs Snake developments: Pit has been added to Dream Land, even though the video shows a rivalry with Meta Knight.

Heart Container: Full heal back to 50 HP. Character with the most damage receives the item at the end of the round.
This Round's Dressphere - Square Enix use only!:
Blue Mage - Blue Magic: -1 damage to one character that is using a special. Sphere user can use that special on a different character or gains the automatic effect.
This Round's Specials:
1) Chrono: Lightning: -4 damage to one character regardless of defenses (Hits through reflection, immunity, and absorption)
2) Sonic: Sonic Wind: -3 damage to two characters

This Round's Stage:

If you have no points, you may buy them by declaring an attack with a character not using a weapon or special and sacrificing damage. For each point of damage you give up, you will earn 5 points. Up to 15 points may be earned. (Counts as your action).
Betting: Say how much you wager and chose from the following list. I will roll a d6 or d20 (your choice) for each bet. You win points based on your bet. Lose points equal to your bet.
Payout ratios:
Even/odd - 1:2; Prime - 2:3 (d6), 9:20 (d20); Individual # - 1:6 (d6), 1:20 (d20)

Throughout this week, you can share some of your favorite plays of the past three games and of this one. This is open to any past player, even if they are not active (but feel free to play again if you want). It can be: some of the cooler actions you have done, the kill-sniping wars that happened occasionally, 5.0e(10e29) HP Ness, anything in the ‘plot’ or ‘story’ after such elements were introduced. There is no restriction to the number of moments you can share. My favorite was being able to have such a game out here to share with so many fine players
