WW 32: Harry Potter sign-ups (Closed - Lock Please!)

I'm excited, too. I hope it's not too confusing -- but I'm sure I'll figure out how to play as I go. I think I've got the general gist of it thanks to those links Pickles posted as well as lurking through a game here a long time ago.

I'll be asleep before roles are handed out tonight, so I hope I get up early enough to at least check who I am before I leave for work tomorrow. Does the Sorting Hat work while you're sleeping? If I get sorted into Slytherin, that'll be my excuse...
