I love how you added a little humor into the roles (at least mine) along with the fact that you give a brief physical description. I think that Scottie could learn a thing or two from you.

Hopefully, intro finished by tomorrow so we can finally start...yes, you should start discussing with your team (if you have one) what to do...any roles can be used right about now though ... not much good though... as you have nothing to work with

Queen Twizzler's Royal Ball had been planned for several months. The queen had sent messengers to at least 29 people or so enemy spies reported. The guests ranged from cooks to royalty. However, Queen Twizzler's ulterior motive for the ball was to introduce everybody to her new apple tree. It had been imported from 8,947 kilometers away and was already full of purple apples. Nobody really wanted to try some but sources have reported seeing the cook baking it into pies to serve at dinner.
(Fast Forward...Zoom!)
The night of the ball was here. Folks from every corner of the globe had gathered in Twizzperida for the ball. The costumes ranged from stunning gold to a hideous mix of orange and blue. It was fantastic and everybody loved it. The guests then retired to their room after a fun filled night of dancing. They would be leaving tomorrow.
Queen Twizzler was tired after the long filled night. She was walking towards the veranda to get a breath of fresh air when some movement in the nearby curtained swimming pool room caught her eye. Illuminated in the candlelight, a woman was admiring some flowers. Queen Twizzler smiled as those were her favorite flowers. However, with some horror, she watched as another figure leaped up behind the poor oblivious woman. The mysterious woman screamed once briefly before falling with a splash into the pool. The queen rushed inside but it was too late. There in the pool was her loyal firestarter, Joanna Larissa, dead with a knife in her back. Queen Twizzler registered movement out of the corner of her eye and barely missed being impaled on a dagger which fell from the assassin's hands after the thrust. They were dressed in some color that the queen couldn't quite recognize. Missing the chance to kill the only witness, the assassin fled but not after Twizzler threw her apple staff at their (silly me...almost revealing the gender) head but missing and accidentally shattering a flowerpot instead. He escaped through an air vent but somehow a piece of white fabric got caught on something. Nearby was also a bottle of poison, probably intended for if the murder attempt was not succesful. The guests rushed in moments later, having been awakened by somebody's shriek, not the poor Joanna's. A woman in her sleeping gown stumbled over an overturned pedestal.
(Words are bolded for a reason, just a hint: White fabric (red herring)) and possibly the rest are too...some investigation might be done on the pedestal though

white fabric:clue? What type of material? silky as in a ball room gown, Or linnen cotten mixture, or what a tuxido shirt is made of ~ could tell gender
