Yay! We have an angel again! . Oh Kidwaiy - something must have been tampered, as I have been cleared by a dreamer that contacted me . Plus my role sheet clearly says 'Innocent' .

Plus, Mattycat has provided me with enough evidence to prove his innocence. .

I think mattycat could be mafia, but Twinkle should be the last wolf. I would like to hear mattycat's role, though I doubt he would make up a role if he's never played before and isn't familiar with the roles, though I wouldn't be surprised. xD

Kuge, it's easy enough to look through old WW games and see what common roles there are xD

Yes, I'm just going to reveal my role publically . While we're at it, dreamers, could you reveal yourself publically? I'm innocent, simple as that, but really, I find it unnessisary to publically (or privatlely - you haven't been cleared yet) reveal my role. Regardless, to prove my role to MJ I used up like, all my role, so even if I did reveal it, I couldn't prove it.

If dreamers are revealed publically, they will be the mafia's and the wolves prime targets.

1. "I" is singular.

2. Anyone can say they're innocent. o_o No one person's word takes priority over another's therefore no one is "cleared" by word, only trusted. You can't expect everyone to just drop all suspicion because you say you're innocent.

Just like I told MJ, you can't just tell a single person your role and expect that person to say you're cleared and for everyone to just go along with it. Have some sort of backup if you haven't already. There are plenty of people who have been cleared completely. There's no harm in contacting them as I don't think there are any conversions.

If you've used up your power, then why are you hesitant to give out your role? If it's used up you'd pretty much equal a plain innocent which usually doesn't end up high on a killing list.

True, but please look at the word 'like'. This means I still do have a little power, and sometimes even a little power could be the difference between innocents winning or losing.



Yes, that's what I was trying to infer. (I was being sarcastic by the way ) If all the innocence just revealed their role, the baddies would know who to kill in what order. That's why I refuse to reveal my role. Even though I'm simply a pawn, you have to kill quite a few pawns to get to the more powerful peices (couldn't think of a better relatshonship thing ) Regardless, I'll just wait for evidence to come up to prove my innocence. You people and your need for evidence . Really, what evidence do dreamers have that their not lying? I bet that for every 5 people that say their useless, one of them can't prove their role (like a dreamer!). I'm not saying mattycat is a dreamer, but I'm saying that evidence simply isn't possable in some situations. In my opinion, baddies tend to slide toward more powerful roles, so no one wants to even risk killing them.

Well, I had something very long a detailed typed out but my computer took a dump so I'll just say that that's all answered easily.

First of all, evidence is what makes the game. Without evidence all executions are random and no one would ever know who is bad and who is evil. No matter how much you may trust someone, without some sort of evidence, there's going to be the chance that someone might not believe you (that's the very short version).

As for the dreamers not being able to prove themselves, that's very unlikely. Unless the team that the dreamer is dreaming of is dead, the dreamer shouldn't have trouble proving themself. Even if the team they are dreaming of is dead, if they claim to be the dreamer and no one else has claimed to be it (which is actually very unlikely now that I think of it), it can easily be proven/disproven.

To the comment about knowing if a dreamer is telling the truth or not: Beyond what I already said about another person not claiming to be a dreamer, it is also unlikely that a person would fake being a dreamer if they thought there was a chance of that type of dreamer actually being in the game. The person can pretend to be a dreamer, but dreamers are usually know fairly early in the game and it would make it that much easier to peg a baddie just because they faked such an important role. Also, because of this, hardly anyone fakes being a dreamer because they can't just shout out that so-and-so is bad and then be wrong about it, they'd be executed on the spot. Because of this, when a person claims to be a dreamer (werewolf/mafia or other baddie "team" specifically), they are most likely telling the truth. Although if you are a far out OMT, you have more of a chance of faking that you're a baddie (as WIS did for example) and it being believed.

I cut out about 3/4 of the post, but in short:

Evidence is basically what structures how the game is played and without it, the whole thing would be done randomly.

Dreamers can usually and fairly easily prove their role, that's usually not a problem at all.

Baddies usually don't fake being a dreamer unless they are a one-man team, but even then it's not done very often.

Disregarding the evidence for a second, I should also mention that there are plenty of players that have been cleared and that it would probably be in a player's best interest to contact one of these people (heck, I know you have one yourself MJ ) They may not be mentione ddirectly on the thread, but they can probably be found hidden on the thread somewhere. If you tell someone that has been proven innocent, you're most likely to get your point across, otherwise, it may be up to interpretation (though sometimes people will take your word for it, but in the situation that there are still a ton of mafia members running around, we should be a bit more careful).
