I thought the previous rounds were hard. Boy was I wrong. This particular image has almost limitless interpretations, since it is not only a vague theme at best, but it also has no main text to clue you into what you're supposed to be feeling. Myself, I viewed it as a fireworks, Fourth-of-July thing, because the streaks look like firworks to me, and that white swirly thing looks like the American Flag. (I know, that's not what it is at all, but that's what I saw it as when I first looked at it.
) As such, my ratings will probably be very sparse this time around. I'll try to look for what I think captures the mood of the picture the best.
Ammer-The Sovereign Winds
This is a very good subtext, but I think the image is so majestic that this falls a little short. Perhaps something on a grander scale than just earthly winds.
Anoohilator-The winds of change...*fade*...come, blow my way.
I kind of like this. I don't really know how to describe it, whimsical comes to mind but I know that's not the correct description...... I like the flow of the words, too, they sound poetic to me. The only thing, I don't think it quite matches the grandness of the image, but it's very good.
Oh, also, the fading really isn't necessary, since there's such a huge amount of open space on the image.
Khristian-Secluded Serenity
I personally don't think this matches up with the mood of the picture. I get more of a 'breathless wow' feeling from it, than a 'peaceful' feeling. However, I can see how someone else would view this as a 'peaceful and alone' image.
matterbug-Streaking through space
It's okay. I can see that it does look like someone's streaking through space. I don't think that this is really descriptive enough, though.
pattypus-Rays of brilliance
I don't really know how to judge this one. I like it one second, then I don't the next. I think those do look like brilliant rays of light, I just don't think it describes the picture that well.... I think it misses the grand awesomeness of what's going on in the picture.
the_dog_god-Weaving the cosmos...
I really like this one. It's grand, it's descriptive, and it's emotionally evocative. I really think it looks like space being woven together, and I think you hit the mark perfectly.
This was really hard for me, since I don't really think any of them were that bad. I'm basically picking out my three favorites, and voting for the other three. My votes go to
Khristian,
matterbug, and
pattypus.
