I live near a nice town with (what I thought was) a good Humane Society. I'm about a 1/4 of a mile out of city limits. About a week ago, my mom and dad went for a walk and found four orange tabby kittens, all about four or five weeks old. We'd been taking care of them, and my dad decided to take them to the H.S.. To our surprise, they wouldn't take them. They told us that IF we were in city limits, the charge to keep the animals would be twenty dollars per cat. To add to this, the place smelled horrible. It seemed as if it was illkept, and hadn't been cleaned for days on end. Not only this, they told us that because we live out of city limits, they cannot take the kittens. If we had lived a bit more into town, it would've been fine. We decided to keep them as outdoor cats, but many dogs run around my neighbourhood and I am frightened that they have no where to stay. Many don't, and because the H.S. won't take them, the pound does. I wrote them a letter regarding many complaints; I won't stand for it. I feel that it isn't fair that these animals are stuck in the pound for three weeks before they are euthanized. I am too young to start my own pet-care business; I'm not over 21; and I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions on the matter?

My friend's cousin used to have a dgo and two cats. They had neighboars who hated them, and tried to annoy them all the time.
Now, one day, the neighboars went to far. They reported my friend's cousin's family to the RSPCA, claiming that they abused animals.
They hadn't done such a thing! And when the RSPCA came, without warning, and took the animals away in cages, their faces were so sad.

Does that mean that if you work with animals that counts towards your time?
