For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

A good start, I'd call that a great start.

The Banker says: "You might have taken out lower values; but you've left the big ones awful isolated." He sticks... 6500NP
Tue Mar 21, 2006 8:17 pm
They may be isolated, but they are the five biggest numbers, so I've got to say:

The Banker says: "Inevitable - Now there's just three more to take off and it collapses." He drops the offer: 800NP

The Banker says: "How cna you be guarenteed more won't go?" He increases, begrudgingly to 3000NP
Tue Mar 21, 2006 8:39 pm
How cna I?
Although the 50,000 hurt, there's now only a 1 in 4 chance of hitting a red. I think I'm going to Press my Luck once more.

The Banker says: "THe loss of the 25000 has turned it into an all or nothing game." He sticks at 3,000NP
(THe logic of the offer is that I want you to carry on. There is a 60% of the largest number going, and the offer plumetting - I'm playing the odds.

)
Tue Mar 21, 2006 8:47 pm
I said I'd press my luck once more, I ended up where I was before.

Tue Mar 21, 2006 8:52 pm
So, you've got 3,000NP guarenteed. However, if you want to carry on to see what would hav ehappened, feel free.
Post a list of three boxes to see what would happen, then what box you would have claimed as your own to see what happens
Also, provide me a link to a trade to get your prize (wither PM or post)
Tue Mar 21, 2006 8:57 pm
3000 is pretty good, and it was fun playing.
If I had gone all the way, I would have picked box 9.
trade link
Tue Mar 21, 2006 9:01 pm
Box 9 contained 10NP.
The 35000NP was in box 14

(Which is incidentally what another Matt won on the real life one today - £35k)
If the game tomorrow has a similar result, I think I might have to keep it up after my holdiay.
Wed Mar 22, 2006 3:53 pm
As nobody else seems to be, I'll take a chance.
(Hehe, I love the show)
