Bangel-I'm not arguing my rating, here, but I think it's a little odd that you pointed out Jade_Em's "failure" as it were (all the things you disliked about her signature), and you pointed out all things you liked about mine, yet you chose to eliminate me.

I'm trying tobe argumentative or picky, I just thought that was kind of wierd.

It was different types of rating- one unfortunately and unintentionally being pessimistic and the other being optimistic. I did line them up at the end and it was very close, but in the end I decided to keep her.

Round note: Not many people noticed how Small the Signature is… Unless the font was quite small I don’t think some of them would fit…

Quote:
_jade_em_ - Beautiful dreams under multicolour mist - 7/10

It’s very poetic. I like your (Probably unintentional :P) metaphor for the elephants ‘Beautiful dreams’. And your description for the rainbow colours as a ‘multicolour mist’ is very powerful. But it’s a little long… Check my round note.

.:Requiem:. - Painted Procession - 8/10

My first reaction was ‘Aww, that’s cute’ It’s short and sweet. It has some alliteration in there too… It sums up the signature quite well. ^^

Fiddelysquat - Look beyond the rainbow veil... - 9/10

It has an air of mysteriousness. I like it. I like the way you describe the colours as a ‘rainbow veil’. This is one subtext where the full stops (or ‘periods’) work. I think the subtext is a little on the long side though but it’d probably just about fit.
Probably my favourite this round though. ^^

WIS - Radiant Curtains of Nature - 7/10

I like your wording here with ‘Radiant Curtains’ but… I don’t know but I get a feeling that something’s missing, but I don’t know what. Sorry. It is nice though… It's also a little big like Fidd's but I'd probably just fit.

I choose to emliminate:
WIS

Arghhhh! That was so hard to choose… Sorry…

Judges Notes:
Wow, there isn’t one this round I don’t like. This was extremely hard to judge, and even harder to pick. I wish all of you could come to the end, you deserve it.

_jade_em_
Beautiful dreams under multicolour mist
First off, I think this is much to long for this signature. The signature isn’t very big, and this is a long subtext. Now the subtext itself I think is very nice. It is poetic, and I really like how you have incorporated the dream-like feel of the signature.

.:Requiem:.
Painted Procession
I like this one, it is a good length, and it incorporates the entire signature quite well. I really don’t see a problem with this one.

Fiddelysquat
Look beyond the rainbow veil...
Oooo. I love this one. It is excellent! Well done, there is really nothing I can say that would improve this.

WIS
Radiant Curtains of Nature
This captures the signature extremely well. Again, there isn’t really anything I can say to improve.

I chose to eliminate:
1. _jade_em_

Final Round
Congratulations to _jade_em_, Fiddelysquat, and WIS

.:Requiem:. has been eliminated.

In this round you will have three signatures. You will have to make a subtext for each signature. This is so the entire contest doesn't rest on one signature, it rests on three :P .

Signature 3

You have until Friday January 6 to submit your subtexts. Good luck :)

Um. What exactly is this? xD When I first saw it it seemed like a red-eyed egg (or whatever you call it,) but WIS seems to see it as a red swirl in a white thing ... or does it not matter how we interpret it?

I don't think so, that is just too common, and I'm sure the judges would mark you down big time for it, because you didn't think of it yourself.

Time for the final judging. This time I would like the judges to rate and review each subtext, and give it a rating on 10 (I know some of you always do this, but some don't so...). Also, DO NOT post your ratings on the thread, PM them to me. Ratings will be due Monday January 9th.

Robert, I may have difficulties submitting my ratings for Monday. Can you extend the due date because I'm finishing a major project right now and I have to finish some leftover Math homework.

Sure, this round is important, and it is always fun to watch the contestants wait
