In the original game, would the votes not be public (adding a bit of "but you voted for him!" element, and allowing people to be more selective about who they eat/shoot/hang)? Sounds like a cool thing to add .

Yes, we PM him the votes, and then he displays them publically when he displays the votes.
Adds a little more element of backstabbing element, as people are more likely to backstab when the other person can't immediately see.

I believe that the votes are going to be on the board rather than PM. It's mentioned somewhere in the rules post.
