For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Ooo...is it too late to sign up?

If all I have to do is send a PM each day, I can play this. I don't know if I'll be able to strategize much, so I'll just rely on pure luck.

Ooooh, can we have calculus problems?
Fri Nov 21, 2008 1:51 pm
Game starts in 5-odd hours, but there's still time for a last-minute signup in case anyone else is interested in playing. Also
some people still haven't sent their questions

You may... actually I've just been given a very good idea, but you won't find out until later.

lol...if we have calculus problems, I'm totally going to be throwing out a random answer...

Calculus problem: Which series' creator would you rather shoot (if he weren't already dead): MacLaurin or Taylor (or both)?
Just kidding... I already sent my questions in.
Regarding game strategy, I will always choose the first answer.
Or maybe not.So if you want to be in the minority, pick the second answer.

Question #1
"Everyone, welcome to my little game!" exclaimed Wind to the assembled players. "As you see, this is my show and I can do long-winded and totally pointless introductions if I want to. However it's getting late and I don't like talking, so we'll go straight to the game."
"As you see," she continued, gesturing to the stage she was standing on, "here I have an urn with the names of all the participants. I will now randomly extract one name, and that person will have the dubious privilege of asking the first question. So... let's see..."
Wind selected a small piece of paper and unfolded it. "Urthdigger will ask a question! Come on the stage, Urthdigger," she called, but unfortunately Urthdigger was apparently too embarrassed to speak in public because he went and hid behind a potted plant.
"It looks like someone else will have to be so bold as to ask the first question. Rachel?" Wind asked, but Rachel turned away and pretended to be asleep. "Oh, seriously! Katherine!" Wind called, pulling out a third scrap of paper. Katherine tried to run for it, but the other players blocked her and forced her on the stage. Wind handed her the microphone.
"Uh... er..." Katherine said, after a long pause. "Are you a boy or girl?"
"Ladies and gentleman, we have a question!" screamed Wind, snatching the microphone away from Katherine and shoving her off the stage. "Are you a boy or a girl? You have now 24 hours to send me your answer. I'll remind you for a last time that you don't have to give me the real answer, just the one you'd think the minority would give. You're welcome to discuss here or privately among yourselves. Good luck!"
Ah, personally I prefer Taylor...
Anyway, seriously, randomizer hates me. It kept giving me Urthdigger's and Rachel's names D:
By the way: trivia. The question Katherine asked happened to be the first one used in the manga. Go figure.

Duh!! I'm a Girl

I'm not sure whether to answer with intuition, critical thinking or a coin flip....

Critical thinking all the way:
Vizzini wrote:But it's so simple. All I have to do is divine from what I know of you: are you the sort of man who would put the poison into his own goblet or his enemy's? Now, a clever man would put the poison into his own goblet, because he would know that only a great fool would reach for what he was given. I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. But you must have known I was not a great fool, you would have counted on it, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.

I LOVE THAT QUOTE.
And that movie.

...Siniri, you are too cool for words. XD
So my answer will be the answer that was correct on the Princess Bride: BOTH GOBLETS. Er. Genders. ;D
(In all actuality, I haven't decided yet...)

Aww, I feel so loved. In response, I've finally come up with a question!
EDIT: Hmm, well, I decided to go with a different question because my previous question probably broke the rules of "simple to understand" and "only two answers". For your viewing pleasure, here it is.
If a train leaves Neopia Central at 3:00 PM NST travelling northbound at 100 miles per hour, and another train leaves Terror Mountain at 5:00 PM NST travelling southbound at 150 kilometers per hour, how long until the occupants of both trains realize they are riding something that does not exist and thus have stepped outside the bounds of reality?
Yes or no?
Sat Nov 22, 2008 10:38 am
Ok, since this is is still the first question...
