Story as of now:
Roy picks up a Pokeball, gives a scary sounding line in Japanese, and releases Fire from his captivity. Fire uses a Fire Blast to melt Yoshi, Cloud, Marth, and Mewtwo for -4 damage each. The festivities lasted until the next round appeared. Brinstar is ready for action.

1700 Rule: Regardless of when the last update occurred, you may make actions after 5PM your time zone. There is no need to wait for an update to make an action, but it is recommended. Any actions that break this rule will not count as a legal action and will be promptly (eventually) pointed out.

Preferred Attack format:[Character A] attacks [Character B] for -3 damage’ [Do not forget the underline, red, and bold.]
Code:
[u][Character A][/u] attacks [color=red][Character B][/color] for [b]-3 damage[/b]


Simple Attack format:[Character A] attacks [Character B] for -3 damage’ [Do not forget the bold.]

3: Which is the best place to request backgrounds on PPT? Most of my other sources have run dry for new material, and I want a custom job. Any help would be nice. Arigato!

5: I think this might be the first round, at least in this game, where every special was automatic. I think that opens things up to all of you.
6: I fully expected the one with the list to be the one that won.
7: This will probably be the last SSBM game since the next real game will be SSBB, and thus we get a name change.

This Round's Weapons:
1 Wing Cap: User only deals -2 damage, but is immune to regular and weapon attacks and stage effects.

This Round's Specials:
1) Ice Climbers: Relay: Automatic. Ice Climbers cannot attack, heal or be attacked this round
2) G&W: Fire: Automatic. Mr Game & Watch cannot be attack, heal, or be attacked for the rest of the round
3) Wario: Metal Wario: Automatic. Wario receives 1 less damage when attacked, but only deals -2 damage when attacking. Cannot be targeted by specials and is immune to Stage effects

This Round's Stage:
Brinstar: Raising acid! -1 damage to all characters that were attacked or took no action at end of round

Story as of now:
A bunch of automatic specials leads to a batch of strong regular specials. It may be going slow, but damage is being done. Of course, if it slows too much, Jenova is always ready.

Sure. You choose a character to attack or heal and post based on the formats mentioned at the top of the updates. Some characters have specials each round. There are also weapons and stage effects too.

You may only make actions after your clock hits 5 PM. The 1700 Rule at the start of the updates can explain it better.

To attack: You choose an attacker that hasn't attacked yet and any other character that doesn't have any special protection to be the victim. Attacks follow the top most formats.

To heal: Choose a character and post with the bottom two formats.

Specials and weapons follow the same formats for attacking and healing and should usually be used first.

Characters can only attack once, unless an item or special allows them to attack more, but they can heal unlimited amounts. Most players choose to attack and only heal if a healing item or special is available.

Characters are defeated at the end of the round where they reach 0 or less HP.

The best way to quickly pick up how to play would be to skim through the past few rounds and post in the simplified format if you are still interested. The game is not hard, but looks complicated. New players are always welcome. If you need more help, I am usually around to help out as much as I can.

Sorry for not posting recently

Decided to quit neopets...so stopped coming onto pinkpt

Going to play in the new round of WW, so hopefully I'll be around.

Anyway marth uses his special to do -5 damage to falco
