Other things to note:

Above all other things I prefer that you use photos instead of drawn pics etc. for the sets. Of course this is not possible for set-themes like "The Lion King" or "Pixel-things".

I'm not too fond of animation, but I do like it when the text blends into the image, just like on the set I have right now (made by the talented moogie).

Keep an eye on the list above as I might add some things into it now and then.

I like all colors, but my favorites are pastels and rainbow-combos

Texts and subtexts:

I would like it to say "Silja" on both the avatar and sig.

I would love it if you'd use something from this ---> click <--- site as a subtext.

It would be a good idea to use a quote from the movie if you are making a movie set. Same thing goes for TV-shows and anything involving artists.

Well, I was originally going to do a ballet set, but I couldn't find an image I liked. And then I noticed you had drawing and painting on your list, and I knew just what I had to do.

I was originally going to use this image as the base for a set of my own, but I never got around to it and ended up making something totally different. So, I thought, why not use it for your set contest. It's a gorgeous image, and I just hope the set does it justice...

Anyway, I'm going to say something short about every entry. You should note though that I won't go into deep analyzing, I'll leave that for the final judging, you will only get positive pointers and thoughts for now.

laq - I like how you kept the set fairly pink and didn't blend in other colors (except for the green leaves obviously). And yeah I have a passion for pixel images so that one really hit the spot! The fonts match the picture very well also.

Starchaser - The simplicity in the set gives it that little extra spark so that is very good. You kept the image nice and clean and chose excellent colors to match it. You also put in the tagline of the movie: great!

Elurial - This is exactly what I was hoping for when I mentioned drawing and painting in my list; I don't know exactly why but I'm truly fascinated by things like this. Also you picked a nice quote for the set, at first one might think that it doesn't really match it all but when you take a closer look you see that it fits in perfectly. A plus for the fonts.

Phew! I was really worried about whether you'd like the quote or not, but there was something about it that just struck me as very... well, inspirational, for lack of a better word.

Even so, I thought about it long and hard before I decided to use it. I wanted to use something that fit well, without being too obvious.

Chii - Yet again one with good taste for subtexts, you guys must be professionals of some kind Also you made the set black and white which gives a nice variation to it all + I like the font in the sig.

Optimus - I agree, Maroon 5 does rule And so does the set you made, to mention it. She will be loved is definitely not my favorite Maroon 5 song (the music video to it must be the worst though ) but still. I like how you put the lyrics in the background and the image of Adam is just too purdy
