A flash of light appears before your eyes, and you look around to find yourself in a strange place. The room around you is mostly dark, but has windows to one side…which look into space. Space?!
You look around yourself confused. You see a number of other confused people sitting around a long table. Just as one person opens their mouth to speak, there’s another flash of light, and a tall woman with long reddish-brown hair appears at the head of the table.
She looks at you all and sighs. “Well, I can see we managed to get you all here.”
Perplexed, you start to question what she means, but she starts to talk.
“I forget how small the human mind is. I must start at the beginning. My name is Q. I am a member of the Q Continuum, and have been sent here to straighten out this mess.”
A murmur is heard from the back of the room. “What mess?”
Q glares in the direction of the question. “Why, this group, of course. My son, Q, has gone and meddled where he shouldn’t have again - he must get that from his father. He heard how his father hadn’t gotten along with Benjamin Sisko, and decided to find out why. Apparently Sisko did something to irritate my son, so he decided to play one of his games. He took the memories and personalities of Sisko and his crew…and unfortunately some rather unsavory types…and put them into each of you. For some reason, he figured that seeing how primitive 21st century humans would deal with this would be fun. All that being said, you will probably start to feel the effects of his meddling soon enough.”
She pauses. “Due to certain…mitigating circumstances, we are unable to simply separate the incorrect personality from each of you, though we have been able to identify them. The Continuum is searching for Q and his father, who conveniently decided to sneak off and help him hide, but in the meantime, you will be stuck with it. Q’s indiscretion in selecting personalities has already resulted in some…unfortunate accidents.”
You follow her gaze to where several black burial pods are resting at the back of the room and shudder.
“I have been given the authority to try to help you straighten things out, and see to any executions you decide on as I see fit. If you manage to weed out the evil minds, we believe the spell will break. If not…well, we’re not entirely sure what will happen yet.”
“Please take a moment to review the PADD in front of you that we have put together to get a better idea of the rules.”
At a wave of her hand, a small PADD appears in front of each person.

Welcome to Werewolf 27: Q, Jr.'s Playground! Q Junior has decided to go tampering with the universe (no family resemblance, of course), and it's up to you to set things right again! This game is primarily related to events in the Star Trek universe between the years of 2370 and 2376.

Your goal will be to survive. Whichever team is still around at the end of the game will be declared the winners. Every player will receive unique roles, both good and evil, which will influence the game.

Voting and Executions: Q has granted everyone the chance to have a say in who is executed. Each day, you have one vote. Consider who you vote for carefully, as you do not want to kill the wrong person off! No execution votes are permitted.

In order to attract Q's attention, please post your votes in bold like so:

If you do not post in bold, Q will simply ignore your vote.

You may change your mind about who to vote for, which is OK. To confirm that you wish to remove your vote for them, please unvote (also in bold) as so:

Once you have unvoted, you may vote for a different person. If you do not unvote, and vote for a new person, your original vote will be the only one to count.

Executions will be decided by majority. If 51% or more of the live player vote for one person, that person will be executed. Double executions are not possible.

Death: Many people will die throughout this game, in a various assortment of ways. Once you have died, you may not post in the active game thread. A separate thread for the dead and those not playing the game to post in will exist. Additional rules will be posted in this thread.
Please keep in mind that it is possible to be resurrected after you have died, and be brought back into the game. If this happens, you will receive a PM to let you know.

Roles: Everyone will receive unique roles that will allow them to change bits and pieces of how the game flows. You may not quote your role to anyone, but you may discuss it openly if you so choose. You may not reveal any teammates you might have.

Special Powers (SP): You might receive or stumble across a special power during the game. You may not discuss what this power is until after you have used it, but you may mention that you have a special power.

Shields: Everyone starts with a shield. Your shield is your protection against death. If you are executed and survive, your shield will go down 30%. If you survive a night or day attack, your shield will go down 15%. It is possible for your shield to be raised by various powers.

Day: Days will be from approximately 10:30PM CST (8:30PM NST, 3:30AM GMT) (after night is posted) until 10PM CST (8PM NST, 3:00AM GMT). During this time, you may discuss as much as you want, vote, uses role abilities or special powers, and submit your lists.

Execution: Executions will be promptly at 10PM CST (8PM NST, 3:00AM GMT). Just as a reminder, executions will be based on only the bolded votes.

Night: Night will be posted at approximately 10:30PM CST (8:30PM NST, 3:30AM GMT) Once night is posted, the next day begins.

There will be no break for weekends (the day/night cycle will continue as normal).

Lists: Many roles require nightly action. All lists must be submitted by Execution time (10PM CST, 8PM NST, 3AM GMT). Any lists received after this time will not be counted. The sooner you can turn in your lists, the better.
In order to help Q’s assistant keep track of the lists (after all, Q knows everything), please use the following subject when PMing your lists (or any SPs):
“WW 27, Role name, Power, Night/Day#”
Because Lists are important to the game, they are taken seriously. Q has granted a pardon for the first missed list, but if you miss a second one, your shield will go down 5% and you will be warned. If you miss a third one, you will be modkilled.

Inactivity: While not posting or voting will not get you modkilled, it will likely not make the other players very happy with you. However, your nightlists are imperative. Once again, 3 missed lists, and you will be modkilled. If you will be inactive for a short period of time, please PM me and let me know ahead of time if possible.

Q looks around the room and waved her hand a second time. Another PADD appeared in front of each person.
Missy! looks down at the PADD. “It’s blank.”
Dyl nods. “So’s mine.”
Q groans. “That’s because it is keyed to your thumbprint. These PADDs contain data on the person whose memories you have received. You cannot share then with anyone else.”
Everyone touches their thumb to the PADD and begins reading as it they light up. Q glances around giving everyone a moment. Princess Miyu keeps taking her thumb off the PADD and putting it back on, watching the PADD blink off and on. At Q’s glare, she comments, “Hey, we don’t have anything this advanced that is common place in our century. Especially not this *small*.”
Q shakes her head and moves on. “Well, you have all the information I can give you without consequence. You are free to move about the station. I will arrange for everyone to be present at execution time.”
The door to the room slides open, and she nods.

Roles have been distributed. Day one has begun. First execution will be Thurs, Aug 16th at 10PM CST (Thurs 16th 8PM NST, Fri 17th 3AM GMT).
