Dr. Phil goes PPT

For those with a problem they need support with, just to tell someone what's bothering you , or maybe you feel really bad and want someone neutral to talk to.

To set the start:

Yesterday someone from the hospital called about my grandfather, whom we haven't seen for over 15 years. His cancer had come back, and he couldn't handle the idea of dying before he saw us again.
My parents went there, and since it's impossible for me, I made a film of me for them, and my dad made a film of them for me.
It was really emotional, because none of us were the reason why we hadn't seen eachother for such a long time (it was my dad's brother) and it really was just like nothing ever happened.

So now I have 'new' grandparents and one of them will be dead before the end of the year.

Well, I don't really know what to say, I mean I suppose a sorry would be good, but useless in the end. I think you need to come to terms that sometimes things happen for a reason. I knew I had to when my grandmother died.

I hope this helps :D And you and your family are in my prayers :) .

P.S. I hope that didn't sound too stupid lol.

why was it impossible for you to see him?

Well, in the past, there was some MAJOR backstabbing done by my dad's brother (I know, my uncle, but since I don't feel it like that, he's just my dad's brother) and from then on, we didn't have anything to do with the family. Right now it's impossible because I'm stuck in work and school about 3000 km away ;)

But thank you for the support, it's so nice to hear from people who aren't involved in it.

Now for others: See, that wasn't so bad... Big issues, not so big issues, any issues can be discussed here :)
