Fortunately/Unfortunately (Split @ 10)

Tue May 09, 2006 10:10 am

ok, here's how this works:
1. i post the beginning of a story
2. the next person posts a negative turn of events, starting by saying "unfortunately..."
3.the next person post something positive, beginning with fortunately
4.unfortunately
and so on..
example:
me: joe went hiking in the woods.
person q:unfortunately, he tripped on a rock
person z:fortunately, he caught himself easily
person blurp:unfortunately, he was at the edge of a cliff and stumbled off the edge
person q:fortunately, he landed on nice, fluffy pillows
and so on...

BEGINNING:
billy-bob the big bad bean went swimming in his pond.
______________

fortunately Harold picked them up for him

Tue May 09, 2006 10:26 am

unfortunately Harold was still pretty angry with the weedy little nerd shrub, so he broke the glasses and got out the hedge trimmer

Tue May 09, 2006 11:54 am

Fortunately, his mother found him again

Tue May 09, 2006 2:39 pm

Unfortunately, he lost his mother.

Tue May 09, 2006 2:50 pm

Fortunately, she was just in the other room unplugging the hedge trimmer

Tue May 09, 2006 3:05 pm

Unfortunately she got electrocuted.

Tue May 09, 2006 3:46 pm

Fortunately the Weedy little nerd gave his own mother the Kiss of Life and revived her.

Tue May 09, 2006 8:43 pm

Unfortunately, his mother was weirded out by her son kissing her, and decided to transform herself into a fork so that Weedy Little Shrub wouldn't go all Oedipus on her.

Tue May 09, 2006 10:47 pm

Fortunately, the Weedy little nerd had a wand and changed his mom back.

Wed May 10, 2006 12:46 am

Unfortunately, the wand backfired after transforming her back, and turned the Weedy Little Shrub into a tiny pink elephant shrub, leaving his mother to run away to the Bahamas.

Wed May 10, 2006 3:23 am

Fortunately Harold got to go too.

Wed May 10, 2006 11:27 am

Unfortunately Snippy didn't.

Wed May 10, 2006 3:38 pm

Fortunately, the story came to page 10 and started to wind down, so snippy forgot all about the bahamas in his eagerness for the new story. which hopefully didn't have harold or the shrub.

Go ahead... make my day
