Synopsis:

Werewolf is a game, similar to the more widely known game of "Mafia". The basic idea of the game is simple: Defeat the other sides before they defeat you. Generally there will be a few evil teams against a *innocent team*. For the *innocent team* to win, ALL evil players must be eliminated from the game (or make it impossible for them to win). For the evil players to win, ALL players not on their team must be eiminated (or impossible to defeat the evil player). Regardless of life/death, if your team wins... every member in that team wins.

General Stuff:

Every day you will get the opportunity to execute someone. At night, the evil teams will have the avility to kill someone.

Voting ends at 5:00:00 PM NST (PST) however, the posting of the execution results WILL NOT occur at that moment. Expect a 10~20 minute lag to get everything sorted out. This also signifies the end of Day. Once the execution scene is posted, Night begins.

Night ends at 6:00:00 PM NST (PST). Again, posting of the results may take longer. Expect 10~30 minute lag to sort everything out and ensure correctness. Once the scene is posted, the NEXT DAY begins.

Certain events/actions in the game may cause these times to be shifted.

LISTS MAY BE SENT ANYTIME WITHIN THE SAME DAY/NIGHT THE LIST IS TO BE ACTED UPON (Unless restricted specifically by your role)

All times are with respect to PPT Forum time. If your timestamp of the POST or PM reads 5 PM or later (or 6PM for night) whatever contents it has will be NULL AND VOID. (If extensions are given, same rule applies to the adjustment)

Those who are on a team of evil may not reveal the names of their teammates w/o their FULL CONSENT shown to me (through PM). This is a serious offence to break.

RULES

1. Roles are given out completely at random by my trusty random number generator. What someone was last time has no bearing to what they are this time.

2. Respect all members who are playing the game. Just because something doesn't go your way does NOT mean you can flame them. This doesn't ban you from arguing, just keep it at a sophisticated level and KEEP IN MIND the feelings of the other.

3. Once you have died in this game, you are no longer allowed to post in this thread. You may go to the commentary thread, however there are rules governing what you can say.

4. NEVER EVER CLAIM THAT I HAVE SAID SOMETHING AND YOU ARE SAYING IT FOR ME. This includes modeling and doctoring any PMs THAT EVEN LOOKS LIKE A ROLE SHEET.

5. In addition, you may not COPY ANY OF MY PRIVATE MESSAGES TO YOU IN ANY METHOD (screen shot, quote, forward, anything!!!). Failure to adhere to this rule will result in automatic death.

6. Activity is important.. don't disappear on me.

7. If you leave the game or get modkilled you are considered BANISHED from this game. You are NOT allowed to post in commentary or participate in any post-life activities. This also puts you in danger from playing in future games.

8. Lying is part of the game. Do not get upset to see one of your *allies* have stabbed you in the back. Do not force someone to swear something on their whatever. It's a game. It's a game. It's a game.

9. Voting for yourself/killing yourself directly is not allowed in this game.

10. You are not allowed to post private conversations (that's anything off the thread itself) w/o full consent of the other party. This can be done over the thread or direct PM to me. Failure to adhere will result in a modkill.

11. Please write *WEREWOLF* in the title of your PMs to me. Putting your role will also help, but not necessary

VOTING
You will generally have 2 votes to use during this game. You cannot use both of your votes on the same person (generally).

Vote in the following way:
VOTE: PERSON A

To remove a vote:
UNVOTE: PERSON A

Note that if you vote for a 3rd person without properly unvoting someone before, your 3rd vote will be ignored.

You may also vote for a *NO EXECUTION* by posting:
VOTE: NO EXECUTION
However! Note that if you vote for NO EXECUTION, you may no longer vote for that day/night cycle.

If you vote for a NO EXECUTION, any other votes you may have will be removed.

Vote summaries will be made by me when I can/want to. Anyone may post summaries, but official counts are done by me (also point out errors if they are made)

51% is required for a majority
75% is required to lock a vote on that person.

IF AND ONLY IF there is a 75% majority, you may go for a *DOUBLE EXECUTION* However, that person must have at least 50%.

A tie vote will result in another method to determine the execution.

NIGHT

Generally Night occurs in the following order:
Protections
Killings
Dreams/other roles

However, some roles may occur before others and in general are usually handled in the ordered recieved.

YOU MAY ALWAYS CHANGE YOUR LIST However, this will put you at the bottom of the *list*.

SECRET POWERS

There may or may not be powers that are given to add to your basic role.
The fact you have one and what it is MAY NOT BE REVEALED until you have COMPLETELY used it up and recieved its result.

Don't even try to make one up. If you do either, appropriate action will be taken, depending on its severity.

I will specifiy if you can discuss a power with others in the PM itself.

Shields
All players has a shield. Each varies depending on the person.
Shields weaken as time passes.

Every day a shield will decrease by 10%
Every attack made will decrease it by 20%
Every execution made will decrease it by 30%

A random number generator will be used. If that number is greater than your shield level, your shield shatters and its protection will fail.

If its less than your shield level, it will decrease by the appropriate amount

If an evil player fails to kill someone due to shield, you will go onto the next person on your list up to 3 people. Other protections occur BEFORE shields.

I hope i didn't miss anything too big, but if I did, and you know it... just follow that rule and alert me about it.

Scott takes a seat in the secluded village, continuing his nice vacation by relaxing on a lawn chair. When all of a sudden a siren is heard from the middle of the village. Everyone rushes toward the center, where Scott bumps into some very familiar faces.

"... you've got to be kidding me" Scott thinks in his head, where scott enters the center of the village to see chaos, confusion, and afraidness in the crowd.

Scott takes a stance on the base of the pole and adresses the crowd.

"Well. Looks like its that time again. We've got some evil running around in this here village and I'm going to close off the boundaries so no-one gets out until we get rid of the evil. You'll have the chance to kill 2 people a night given that you follow the proper rules."

Scott throws down a copy of the rules for all the 25 people in the village. "Yeah... I keep a copy handy. What can ya say."

Keep it easy this first night, we'll have our first execution on JULY 7th, 5:00 PM. See you then.

Day 1 begins

Hmm, fantastic, my first Scott based Werewolf. The games on Randomness are...a little more random.

Well, lets get started.

And another one begins, well lets hope for the best and make it a good one.
Anyways we have 2 days to spa-i mean discuss the game before any of the fun-using-your-head stuff begins.

For once i'm good in the game *gasp shock the horror* cause you know, in my role sheet it said that i had the powers to"dream, protect, convert, ressurrect, kill" the whole shamzoo in just one role. I like to think of it as the ultimate-blkmage-winning-ww-role...or i could just be a roleless innocent of doom. The joy.

Smallest Scott-run game in a while o_o

The days when 40 or so people signed up in less than a day.(or around a two day period...or three) Those were the days....lol.

Not to be unkind or anything but that starting scene was a bit... less than impressive.

I firmly believe in not voting on first days in small games like this. THe chances of taking out a powerful innocent role is too high.

It started, yay!

I vowed in the previous 1 or 2 games to not read my role before I posted my first post (weird, huh? ) and unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in accomplishing that. But as I am posting (and editing) this post, I have NO idea what my role is yet

Would you be happy to see that you have to do the same thing over and over again when you're on vacation? I don't think so

Seeing that I consider writing up a werewolf game a pleasure and a form of entertainment... yes.

That post was meant is jest though, I doubt anyone really cares about starting scenes.
