Lydia listed to Rystol with great interest as she told her about her family, its history and where they originated from. It sounded as if it was all filled with harmony and love for each other, in spite of more negative incidents. As Rystol finished her story she asked Lydia about her own family. Lydia smiled a bit and thought they ought to comment what Rystol had just told her as well.
"Not quite as extraordinary as yours if I may say so." she started and hesitated some before continuing. She knew very well that as an empress she needed to choose her words wisely, and she might as well start with that now.
"Well, my ancestors were all peasants and merchants, as my own family. Though I can mention that we are one of the few elvenfamilies with no other blood running in our veins. Some elves of this kind call themselves the high-elves, but at least my family has always preferred to regard at ourselves as equal to all other living beings. I was raised on a large farm in Narion, I must say my childhood was very happy. Two loving parents, friends to play with and fun duties to carry out on the farm, what more could one ask for?" Lydia explained and laughed a bit. She paused for a while and then continued.
"After I had finished my studies back at home, oh and those were art studies by the way, you know, painting and drawing, music and literature... Anyway, I decided that it would be only good for me if I got out to see the world a bit, so I've been wandering around in all four countries for a couple of years now. I have realized that all of my traveling has been of great value, I have learned so much about this world." she said.
Before Lydia had any time to continue her discussion with Rystol they were all interrupted by Phalan who had entered the courtyard with Meiou who seemed to be in a very bad state. Lydia regarded with worried eyes at the scenario not knowing what was going on.

As Phalan entered the courtyard Ellamiel paid her full attention to him and Meiou who was carried by him. He rushed to her and asked for her advice. Strangely enough Ellamiel remained calm giving Phalan instructions.
"I cannot do anything but get the evil forces out of him for a while, but you Phalan, you can get them out of him for good." she said and touched the both lightly with her hands.
"Talk to him Phalan, bring him back to his rightful position beside his emperor. If he truly is your advisor his loyalty belongs to you, and you can bring him out of the darkness."
