Rauven was not far, hidden, looking at Reikand. He knew that was something holy, and that he should turn his eyes away, but he had to look. To his trained eyes, a white aura glowed around Reikand. He was at least 3 times more powerful, Rauven could tell for the way he grabbed the dagger. For Rauven to master an ability like that, would turn him beyond human. Rauven would be a God among gods.
The ultimate purpose for any Blaze follower, the Fire... Arastor was made by the last Fire Master. A gift Rauven's master could not carry anymore. He saw his master right beside him. The master looked at him, and said Rauven, your will takes you to dark places. The Blade is dangerous, for Her power is neutral. You cannot always work in the path of light. Arastor shun at the last word, a fiery mist covered her fine worked blade. The stone on the handle's end glowed red. Rauven's heart pounded so hard he could hear it perfectly, and anyone near could so too. Then, the master's eyes turned gray, and a spot of blood blossomed in his chest, growing, glowing in the same color as the sphere of Arastor.
They had killed his master, Athor, the Pyromancer, in front of him, when he was just 7 years old. At the time, Rauven was the Protected, the favorite student of one of the 5 Masters. The kill of the 3rd Master...
That's when everything came clear to Rauven. Now only the Ether Master was alive. For how long? Rauven had to pass this test. He had to become Rauven, the Pyromorphos! For his Master's piece...
A loud bang made his Vision disappear. Reikand was no longer glowing, and looked cornered. The sphere was still glowing hot. He felt the heat of battle again pumping fire into his veins. Using some shadow theory, he sneaked behind one of the trees and called the Blaze. The blade of the sword seemed to burn, as he swung it above his head, burying it all the way, in diagonal, so the very heart of the tree was hit. A loud snap echoed through the forest, as the flames on Arastor consumed the tree from inside. It was a strange fire indeed. Although the forest's ground was full of dead and dried leaves, the fire did not touched them, only the tree was being consumed. As fast as the fire started, it stopped. The only proof of the tree was the rumbled dirt.
