Introduction
The sun is slowly descending beyond the horizon. It casts a red-and-orange glow on the rippling waters of the sea, whose waves are gently lapping onto the expanse of sandy white shore. Next to this are beautiful wide grasslands and rolling hills, wild and untouched by civilization for the first few miles. However, later on you do see cobblestone streets and little houses, markets and livestock, people walking about, going around doing their daily business. This is Relethia, the largest island this side of the globe. It is undiscovered by others, medieval-fashioned and not advanced in technology.
However, situated in the middle of a dense forest, lies Vasta prison, the biggest prison in the land of Relethia. It is hidden from the masses as if its inhabitants had commited crimes. It is made of stone, and looks dark and foreboding. Large iron gates block the path inside. Only with express permission from the King may you enter.
Many go in. Few come out.
Its inside is about as welcoming as its outside. Dark and dull and dank, slimy and dirt-grimed, with a thick aura of the deepest melancholy hanging in the air. It is a large-scale prison. The three floors are organised by ages. The bottom floor is men and women over twenty five. The second floor is for ages thirteen to twenty-four. The third floor is for ages seven to twelve. The top floor is for babies and toddlers. Every floor has cells, each cell holding around seven to fourteen people.
Why so young? Surely the newborn and the toddlers could not have commited such a heinious crime so early in life, at least not one to merit a custodial sentence?
Vasta's walls oozes forbbidance. What is forbidden in the land of Relethia?
Magic.
Every day, a baby is born. On that day, a man is sent around to your house to inspect your baby for magical qualities. If indeed there are some, the child is taken away from you and brought to Vasta prison, where they spend the rest of their lives in captivity, the magic stomped out of them until their purpose for life has gone, for if their powers are left undeveloped, they will never be used.
Walk through the large gates of Vasta prison and enter a world of despair and foreboding not yet seen by mankind. Walk past the cells and notice the inhabitants. Lack of food, lack of freedom, they grow insane. Proceed to the second floor, the third cell on your left, where there are only six inhabitants. All of these are fifteen. They are all born in the month of March, and they are all coming up to their sixteenth birthday. The guards stay away from that cell. Inside, the inhabitants are different from the others, though nothing has been noticed about them yet. They are beginning to unlock the magic element inside them, and do strange things that they do not understand.
Hidden from the world, this is their only hope.
-----------------------
We have 6 people, 6 different types of magic. One each xP
Healing - People Competing: 3
The ability to heal anyone you wish, any wound, anywhere. Providing you are not too tired, or out of breath, you may heal correctly. However, if you are too tired to perform the healing, it could go badly wrong.
Time control - People Competing: 1
This power gives you the ability to freeze time, so that you are the only one who moves. You can also shift forwards and backwards in time. Also, you are able to backtrack and erase events that have happened up to a certain amount of time ago (wiping all memories with it except your own and other invididuals that you can choose to be.) However, manipulation of time is very dangerous and even the littlest and most insignificant-seeming thing can alter very big events, so the user must be very cautious.
Shapeshifter - People Competing: 3
Self-explanatory o.o
Trickster - _jade_em_
The trickster is able to cast different illusions. He/she is also capable of bending wills, as well as being able to charm and lure people. However, the stronger a person's heart, the more he/she will be able to see through the illusions and the more difficult he/she will be manipulated.
Animal Communicator - Anubis
The power to talk to animals. Animals are not frightened of you as they are of other humans, and they take an immediate liking to him/her. Unfortunately, it is not guarateed that an animal's liking is secured and will not change.
Teleportation - People Competing: 2
You can levitate objects. You can also teleport yourself, other people, and objects. However, the heavier the load and the farther you travel/higher you levitate, the more difficult and the more energy you have to put into your magic.
Rules
- The usual - no powerhogging/godmodding etc.
- Remember that your character has been stuck in a dungeon all of his/her life. Therefore, he/she will not know much about the outside world.
- Keep in mind that your character must not have had much to eat when you write your description.
- You must always, always obey the GCs >:]
- You must never, never argue with the GCs. We are always right. You are always wrong.
- PM your bios to Liv ^^; Note that even if you PM her while she's online, you may not get a reply back immediately seeing as she has to negotiate with me first.
- If you have read all of this, put the word "angle" in your bio somewhere (inconspiciously, mind ^^;)

Personality:
Name: Illyne
Gender: Female
Birthday: March 19th
Magical Power: Trickster
Appearance: Illyne is thin and bony, her frame skinny and frail-looking, her skin unhealthily pale. Her face is angled from thinness and her left cheek is streaked with dirt. Her eyes are a cerulean blue. Her hair is long, waist-length and raven-black, dirty and left uncut. Several bangs fall in front of her, veiling her eyes and some of her face unless swept back.
Personality: Despite her cold and empty life, Illyne strives to keep her spirits away from complete misery. She can never be "happy" as we define it, but she does not stare lifelessly and unmovingly into space like the majority of the inhabitants of Vasta. She makes attempts at quiet conversation with her cellmates, trying to take everybody's mind off their misery.
