As to where he's from, he's an original character (incidentally the same one as in my sig) called Darren Green. The dragon...well, I've come to associate that form of dragon (oriental) with him, for some unknown reason.

He's a rather vague character (a bit slow), but he holds a quality of innocence and wisdom around him, and can come up with some profound statements (eventually). I thought of the wisdom of the oriental dragon, and it held to reason that there's part of that spirit in him: hence, the picture.

I don't know, one day I might end up using him in a comic or a story, but for now he's just one of the many characters I draw on a regular basis.
