Yep, sorry to say but this week looks like his last beauty contest for a while. Though he'll be happy. If you've noticed Marffey doesn't normally like to be showcased.

I also made this entry as a partial protest for TNT to make a faerie ruki. I hope later I can play with illustrator to make some samples. The green guy is Zippywazzit. He had to be in there to do the finishing touches to the cardboard wings strapped onto Marffey's thorax. You can tell that Marffey was very eager to wear them

*squeaks* That's adorable. I love the expression of Marffey and Zippywazzit. And as always the coloring job looks excellent. Light were it needs to be and dark where it should be.

Thanks I get down on myself easily when I struggle to advertise at the boards. I have to post sob topics to get attention which I wish I didn't have to do. Is my work bad, I ask. No your work isn't bad, come the replies. If I post a simple "please vote for me" then I get nothing.

And also for the same reason:


*Curses Disney* Two people in this last week have accused me of stealing from Disney and/or Dreamworks.And have refused to vote. I seriously worry if I'll get frozen eventually. It's a good thing Marffey will be banned until May. With my curent mood, I don't think I'll draw him for neopets ever again. I can't risk it. Lots of people fail to notice the differences in my art vs the movies.

I tell people to please view my deviant art journal before making those claims. Comments about stealing Disney art discourage me.


So though I hate to do so, perhaps I'll have to search for a new style. At least one that I can use on neopets and live with. Or maybe I should take a break from the beauty contest. It's sad because I do want to make a living off my current style, the style I imagine in my head, but I don't want to be sued.
