Yup.. just finished this last night and submitted it into the Art Gallery thing.

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/Laelya/christmaspicpngwatermarked.png">

Sorry about the ugly watermark, but I'd rather not have my artwork stolen and re-submitted. :P (Even though it'd be hard to fake, seeing as how it's a picture of my striped Usul, LongPatrolHonRosie, and her Snowbunny, Daffodil Woodsorrel).

Squee!! It's a cute picture...I like the eyes of the Usul. And the snowbunny is adorable. (I thought he was chewing the electric cord at first. Hehe)
What program did you do that in anyway?

EDIT: OFF TOPIC: I just realized my siggy has the same quote as yours! Blast...I'm chaning it. O.o; :P

*drools* Oooohh.. teh Jaderz is in your sig! :P

*ahem* Anyway..

I just sketched it by hand (in pencil first, and then outlined with a fine-tipped inking pen), then scanned it. Usually, I retrace all of the lines digitally, but I was lazy and wanted to make the deadline, so I just amped up the brightness/contrast in Paint Shop Pro 8, and made a new layer on top so I could color without disturbing the actual lining of the picture. Took about 3 hours in total!

EDIT: Haha.. don't worry about changing it, we can be the cool Nephilim kids on the board. ;)

3 Hours...but 3 hours well spent. I usually get mad after one hour, give up and call myself lazy. That took a lot of effort, I hope it gets in after all that. :)

(Yeah, Nephilim kids with the Jadie Boy! Booyah.)

It's cute, the drawing is good, but it needs shading. The watermark also ruins it completely. You can put a watermark on it without it being plastered on the whole thing.

I thought she was a Cybunny at first, but now I see she's an usul. Usul's dont have bunny ears, they're like, weird hair-tuft things. The little petpets are adorable, though. X3

Yeah.. the actual drawing I submitted doesn't have the watermark. I just did that so I could post it on this board without worrying about stealing. I'm currently in the process of adding shading, again, I just wanted to get it in before the cutoff point for the Art Gallery.

Haha.. I dunno.. those look rather like bunny ears to me, but I did take a bunch of artistic liberties with my Usul. She probably likes having bunny ears better anyway. :P

Eeee! So cute!

I personally love the usul. One of the only usuls I have EVER liked, actually.

I love allt he petpets (especially the gingerbread dude...whatever they're called)

Cool names for the usul and snowbunny, too, by the way. *redwall!*

.:Requiem:. - Thanks a lot! I'm of the firm belief that the current Usuls need to be updated, lol. I'm not really a fan of how they look right now either. :P Thanks for your kind words... REDWALL FOR LIFE! :) I grew up with those books and won't ever stop reading them!

watericesage - Aww.. thank you. My usul and snowbunny love you too. :P

*kicks thread back up*

Just letting people know... since this wasn't accepted in the Art Gallery, I submitted it into the Beauty contest. The full sized original (w/out watermark) is on my petpage. :)
