Display your creative spirit here in the Pink Poogle Toy Gallery. It can be art... it can be music... it can be a poem (even haiku)... but most of it... it must be you.

So, what do you think? I spruced it up loads and people have already told me that TNT must be blind if they don't accept this. It's built my hopes up :) Anyway, I just wanted to get your opinion too. Thanks!

The only problem I see with this is that the eyes look a little odd...but it is pretty tricky to draw faces at an angle and not mess up the eyes (I erased my sig's head so many times to get that right). I wouldn't worry about that too much though, the rest of the picture is wonderful! I love the color choices, and you do better shading than I can ever hope to do in Photoshop or PSP or whatever you use.

How do you draw your pictures? Do you sketch them by hand first or do you go straight to the computer to make it?

Yeah, I agree with you. And the horns are off too, but like you said, it's tricky when its at an angle. And I don't think it looks very off; it's just when you stare at it for a bit and you can see that it's a little bit wrong. Hopefully, TNT won't mind this though. And thanks :)

Yep, I sketch them first, scan them, do the lineart and then colour them :) Sounds quite childish really but it's fun and I like my style even if others don't like it that much.

Ah, that's what I do too, except I don't add outlines before I color. It is fun, unless you're trying to draw something you have no hope of...well...drawing. :P

I don't really think there is anything wrong with the way the eyes are drawn. They look pretty good to me, I think the problem is with the pupil and iris position in the right eye. They are rolled back in the eye a bit too far I think. :) Anyways it is very pretty.

I think the reason you had a problem with the horns is that the head is a bit cone-shaped. Most of the Neopet team's drawings start out with a circle for the noggin and go from there. Your little one's head is kind of skewed off to the right hand corner and naturally would make putting in the facial features a lot more difficult.

Just FYI for next time. :)
