'Class Sketches'

Sun Jun 12, 2005 12:13 pm

I don't know about you, but I think I learned how to draw in class. Lately, I took up classes again at saturday. And oh yes, there I go again. As a disclaimer, it is not that I am not paying attention. I can perfectly listen and draw at the same time. (Though writing and drawing is a little more difficult, though, for the trained class-artist, this should prove not a big problem.)

(And yes, I just saw Kingdom of Heaven then, so..)

Dragons.. everywhere.. What can I say, they just sketch easily:

The sad thing is, I actually sketch better in class, then outside. (And no, I am not talking about art classes. :p)

So, are there any other 'class sketchers' in here? Just wondering. And quite curious too. What do you sketch? And did it help your skills? Ever got caught?

(=my most embarassing moment, years back, when I was still in high school, the teacher called me forward to sketch out a drawing of a story we were reading. And I was thinking no teacher noticed I drew in class.)

Whoa, they're awesome. I always remember that you have good drawing skills, ever since... that RP... I've forgotten the name of. >_< But very good! :)

Haven't seen you around a lot, kuroro. Nice to have you back. :D

Aye, I have been lurking, though not for too long.

I don't know, life just caught up.. I did not meant to 'drop' ppt (I never truely did), but I just found myself visiting at bigger interlopes. I guess I needed a 'resting' period with rp-ing, subconsciously.

Oh wow, I really like the last dragon. (I have a bit of a fetish with dragons. Heh heh.) Those are all really, really awesome. I love how you draw fantasy creatures, but make them look real. ^__^
I draw in class too. And it is so embaressing when my teachers walk by and pick up my drawings. Ugh. I don't get in trouble or anything, but I'm always scared of what people think of my drawings.
Well, great job!

Hehe, well, we share the dragon fetish, I guess. I just love them.. in all forms. They never bore me.

*picks jaw back up off the floor* Wow. I love the first one, that is absolutely fantastic, and the dragons are amazing.

I'm just in general awe, you're a fantastic artist :D

Yeah, I was a compulsive math sketcher...back when my art was horrible...

I see that you like the D&D dragons... I thought that blue looked awfully familiar to me (I've read through the draconomicon several times although I don't own it). I was once a copper dragon kid in a RPG...very bouncy and annoying the Gold. ^^

Awesomness! They are so cool! Dragons are hotness!

*slowly winds up jaw*

Wow. You have real skills. I love dragons in every shape and form, so of course those were great. But my favorite of all these was the one in the bottom right corner of the second link.
