Neopets has changed a lot since I first started playing, back in 2000. Back then, having 1000 NP was a rare commodity. Bitten Green Apples sold for 1 NP and people were glad just for fellow Neopians to patronize their shops. Now, if you don’t even have 1000 NP, you are pathetic. So how? You start with just 250…

First, visit places such as Tombola and the Fruit Machine regularly. Put whatever you win there up for auction or trade. Tombola guarantees you something without fail, while the Fruit Machine wins you food once in a while. Don’t start a shop yet. Stock up on food, a lot of it.

The Advent Calendar is located in Happy Valley. If you go to the Advent Calendar at any time of the year other than the Month of Celebrating, a crying, Christmas Ashia will tell you that it is only open in the Month of Celebrating. But when it is the Month of Celebrating, a clip is played each day and shows you what some neopets, faeries etc. do at that time of the year.

By clicking on the ‘Collect Your Prize’ button, you can get freebies that vary from Plastic Firs and Snowager Sculptures to Small Metal Shields and Feepits and you’ll also get free neopoints. But you can only get some freebies once a day and only in the snowing Month of Celebrating, that means you can get free items at the cold Happy Valley thirty-one times a year. But the Month of Celebrating isn’t all smiles, laughter and happiness for Neopains, neopets, faeries, petpets and petpetpets in neopia. That evil Pant Devil has come thanks to the Advent Calendar.

You know, the ones that say play this game, play that game and you’ll win all these neopoints & live a happy neolife. Sorry you’re wrong, in fact this guide is much more interesting than that. I’m not going to tell you everything you already know about making NP’s (restocking, playing games, etc..) I’m going to help you enhance your experience on Neopets.

Now, most people think they know what to do every day to make their Neopets life a fruitful one. I bet it goes something along the lines of this:

So you’ve just started playing deckball or you are so frustrated with the Mirgle that you want to throw your computer out the window. With this guide it will show you the best possible strategies of how to get the ball in the goal. The trick is, to take each “ball up” (When you first start) differently.

Slow paced ball up- if the ball is bouncing at an extremely slow pace don’t move from your goals. Stay in defense of your goals and wait till the Mirgle is confused and is not near the ball and push the ball up towards the left hand corner of the ship if you hit the angle exactly the ball will go in. Try and keep Mirgle out of the picture by running into him.

Well you’ve taken your first step into the big wide world of Neopets and your overwhelmed by the many worlds to explore, the many stores and the many other opportunities Neopets has to offer. The problem is you have no clue where to start and what to do! Well this guide will make things a bit clearer for you with a few hints and tricks on the way.

Keeping Things Cheap

Your pretty much strapped for neopoints for awhile until you’ve made some (more on that later). It would be best to keep to one neopet until youv’e made some cash. But even with that one neopet its going to need to eat and keep healthy but as your probably thinking these are going to cost Neopoints! But there are a few ways to keep your pet happy and healthy for next to nothing. Every two hours visit the healing springs in faerie land and you will be granted health, a full pet or even a snowball. If the faerie does not fill your pet up then you can go to Tyrannia and pick from the huge omelette. You can go back to the omelette once a day so your pet will never be hungry!
