Here’s a guide submitted by ~*I.M.a.Newbie*~ Guild it has tips on how to get the item you want on the shop wiz before it’s sold out. I’m sure you noticed the shoppe wizard lists items but with different values, like this:

Well tons of people want to sell a yenegg at 100K! Well I wouldn’t go to Sally or ally’s Shoppe if I were you! Why? Because it’s the most likely to sell out of yeneggs first because it’s listed first and therefore is the cheapest store where everyone (except smart little you) would go to get a yenegg! So *most likely* this is what will happen.

Jobs by Christina

I’ve been doing a lot of jobs and made a lot of np from it. because of this, now I know what jobs to go for and what jobs to stay away from. Take these points into consideration:

~Don’t go for jobs that are games * unless your REALLY good at it*, cards, or books that look odd or are new releases *usually these are expensive and the reward isn’t worth it*
~ Choose a timing with 15 minutes minimum because then your less likely to fail it and if u finish it quickly, you’ll get a bigger bonus
~ Choose a job that rewards you with about 1000 or more *that u know u won’t loose np*, if your the type that’s really going for np

If you were wondering why I have wrote this article it is because I have been getting fed up with people offering me items on the trade which are no where near that real price. Also when I have been searching the trades I see a lot of trades which have no description so I have no idea what they would like or even if they want anything (some people do store things there). So to sort it out, and to give me a chance to calm down a bit, I have wrote this article to help those on both sides of the trades.

Starting a trade

When you want to start a trade you can of course just put nothing in the box and just tick the items that you want to trade. This method is quick but I have found with expensive items such as a Red Ixi Morphing Potion (which is about 200,000np in trades at the moment), will get silly offers such as a couple of strawberry jellies and 1000np, which is no where near its real price. In order to stop these offers appearing you need to put a description, for example: around 200k in Np or items this is very specific and unlikely to get very many offers, but if you want that much for the item and nothing less then its fine to use although be around the real price. If you dont want to be that specific try putting or ono at the end this means or nearest offer giving those posting a trade to you a chance to go a bit lower or maybe even higher if they are nice!

Trading? There are a few simple things to know.

First off, I dont mean to start this article sounding like some heartless person. I understand that its hard to earn neopoints, that playing the same games gets boring, and that those paintbrushes are REALLY expensive but theres a few basic things that you shouldnt do when youre on Neopets.

One of my first pieces of advice is that it that reposting a message saying TYPETHISMESSAGEINTENOF YOURTRADESANDGO2FAERIELANDANDYOU WILLFIND2000000NEOPOINTSAND AVERYRAREPAINTBRUSHTHISHASBEEN APPROVEDBYNEOPETS is completely pointless and a waste of your time. I was at the Trading Post and I saw so many of these messages. Ive been guilty of that, I admit it. In my newbie days, I was really nave. But reposting messages like that will never get you anything but reported by people who are sick of seeing spam all over Neopets.

SaleFirst I would like to say, this is not a get rich quick scheme. It is going to take a lot of time to do, but it works.

Some weeks you may only earn 100k, but some you may earn a few million. Also, if you don’t already have some money to work with, I would continue to play games until you have enough to buy/sell things worth more than 100,000 neopoints.

Now on with the guide.

  1. BUY LOW SELL HIGH – This is obvious. but also, when you’re haggling, always start WAY, WAY low, the worst a person could do is say, “no higher”, the best they could do is accept. Same when selling, start fairly high, people will most likely haggle it down (unless your lucky) but that will happen even if you offer a fair price.
