Archives For General Neopian Life

Please note: ALL contests are now banned from Neopets. Please do not read this article (even though it is quite good).

Basic Steps
1.) Get a good rare item (neggs, faeries, p/bs, etc.)
2.) Get a lot of misc. items
3.) Price them fairly to the nearest hundred.
4.) Price the rare item(s) at 99999np (just incase someone does buy it.)
5.) Now, in your shop description tell the people something like, “1st place gets the rare item!!” or something. Make it fair by making it a drawing contest. (ex. 100np= 1 ticket.) If you want to, make a date as to when the contest ends. Don’t tell them that you are trying to obtain a certain item, as they will think it’s a scam. Also never make a contest that says something like, ” I will tell you a secret if…” and so on.

Chat Speak by neo_friend12345

In this help guide, we will travel together to find patterns and how to decode Chat Speak AKA rehgyu6d4rygh!! Through the forest of mixed and matched symbols, letters and numbers, we will go through a number of other things, making typing to friends faster, funnier, and a lot easier to understand!

It can be mad, huh? All of those little letters and numbers added in to make words? For all we simple-folk-who-actually-WRITE-out-the-words-here know, 45ebtdfvmed8 could mean something!! Now, lets take a closer look and decode this crazy speak online…

First of, basics. There is a simple thing that will REALLY help you decode this language. Sound it out! People write words as they sound for online chat speak, so if you are having major trouble, say a word out loud. It really helps, huh? Finally, to move on!

Today I am here to tell you how I am going to reach my goal and how you can reach yours just by following these instructions.

Getting Started

The first thing to do is to start earning money. You can earn money either by playing games or selling items in your shop, which I’ll talk about later. The order of games I usually play each day is Turmac Roll, Hasee Bounce, Meerca Chase and Jelly Blobs of Doom. After those four games, I play whatever random games give me a good reward, such as Dubloon Disaster, Koeda-Chan: Basket Burden, Devo 20: Personality Quiz (easy 600 NP daily if you play three times!), Extreme Herder and Sophie’s Stew. Try playing all those games daily. Aim for getting 3000 NP each day from games. If you get more than that, you’re well on your way to becoming rich, but that’s not our major concern right now. Gaining money is only half of the battle.

Definitive Neopets Rules

Neopets rules have always been a bit grey. Sometimes you can do this. Sometimes you can’t. Sometimes you can have multiple accounts but just what can we do on these multiple accounts? What if I have brothers and sisters who also play Neopets? Will we both be frozen? How can you tell the difference? All these questions are answered with reference to Neopets editorial articles themselves so you’ll never question yourself again. (After all, it came straight from Neopets themselves.)

I love the auctions but it’s NOT a good habit, and if you are easily persuaded to buy things and LOVE competition, you would be a great person to bid at the auctions; but I suggest you don’t get into the habit because it’s bad. I once spent 60,000 neopoints at the auctions IN ONE DAY! (In fact, in only a little less than five hours.) If you do choose to bid at the auctions, you should carefully watch that no one bids on your item. If someone bids on your item at the last-minute (or second) there is nothing you can do.
