Shapeshifter Tips

Two tips for Shapeshifter up to level 25

First, if you’re familiar with any somewhat sophisticated graphics software that have layering (e.g. Photoshop), it’s very convenient to put the shapes each on a different layer (in black), and set the opacity of the layers to be Difference. You can then just move around each layer until you get the right final shape. It’s important that you use “Difference” as opacity, since this does the even/odd cancellation for you.

Second, if you have pieces that are a single pixel, I find it much easier to set it aside, work with the remaining pieces to get something approximately right, and then fill it in with the single-pixel pieces. When you are not given such pieces, you can also “create” your own by canceling two shapes, e.g.

How to destroy those pesky ghosts!

You can destroy those flowing ghosts if they are at the same level at Hannah’s head by pressing down and pushing a boulder towards them when they approach you. – lawrencemewtwolo

How to move quickly on a stretch of icy ground

To move more quickly along a stretch of icy ground, rapidly press the direction key instead of holding down on it. Your character will move more
quickly since they slide when they stop. Be careful around enemies however. – evilishies

Make 3k in 2 minutes

The very last level on Hannah and the Ice Caves is called ‘Muahaha.’ It’s a great initiative to beat the game since it is one of the shortest and easiest of the levels, and it gives you 50 treasure chests, which translate into 1000 NP! You can make 3k a day in about 2 minutes! – evilishies

Coconut Shy Tips

The best coconuts to hit

The best coconuts to hit are the dark brown circular ones. They’re medium sized, you can’t miss ’em. And you’re probably thinking, “But I can’t aim!” No problem! Before aiming, click the outside part of the playing screen somewhere on the white space, hold the mouse button and move your mouse to the desired place. It’s best to aim it in the middle of the brown ones, or line the knuckle of the pointer finger with the pole. The hand doesn’t move with the mouse as your aiming, but it will zip right to the cursor when you release the button. Once it’s aimed, simply click as you usually would. Note: The brown ones almost always almost fall. – kermittyluver2

Techo Says Tips

Techo songs by Tiara

I found a good tip when playing Techo Says. Think of the neopets that pop up as a song. As you watch them jump, put their actions into rhythm. And think in terms of colour rather than neopet type, otherwise you’ll get confused.

For example, if they’re jumping blue Chia-pink Kacheek-pink Kacheek-blue Chia, think in your head, “blue, pink, pink, blue!” and set a rhythm to it. The rhythm should come as you watch the neopets pop up.

Trust me 😉 it’s easier to remember the order when it’s set to music!

Strength in numbers by sunnyfriend

Use numbers 1-6 if you count across on the Techo says board it has 1-3 and then underneath it, it has 4-6. So when you have the neopet come up, say out which number it is and then say it in a rhythm! It’s really easy for you to win np, I have tried it out! example: If the Blumaroo pops up you say 2 because it’s in the 2nd position, then carry on and say the numbers in the order they come. Hope this helps!

Potato Counter Tips

Count potatoes using a calculator

Whenever I play this game I always use a calculator to count the potatoes. I found that if I count them myself, I tended to lose count a lot. All you need to do is press ” 1 +” on your calculator every time you see a potato.

Say at the end there were 4 potatoes altogether, you would have pressed “1 + 1 + 1 + 1”. Then just press “=” at the end and you have your total number of potatoes. You don’t even have to count the potatoes in your head, the calculator does it for you.
