Now who wouldn’t enjoy the privacy or maybe not so private comfort of their brand new luxurious neohome! Rumored to be the all new craze in the loony planet neopia, these houses can be built from anything ranging from cardboard, chocolate, straw to expensive gold! The most intriguing thing about neohomes is that you are never done with 3 floors, you can build extensions to your home, build stairways and doors, have gardens, buy insurance, install different systems of lightings, decorate your walls and floor, buy furniture and place them in your neohome, and hold wild parties! Land for your neohome can range from neopia central to faerie land or the exclusive mysterious macarra seas.
Have you ever looked at the Neohome spotlight, and felt ashamed of your Neohome? Do you ever wish that you could have one of those amazing manors made of things that no one in there right mind would build a house out of, but couldn’t because you were lacing in neopoints? Well, Now you too can build your own amazing manor, with out breaking the bank. All you need is 30-80k Neopoints, and a dream.
Step 1: Location Location Location
Before you can build your house, you need to have a site to build it on! Not a problem however, as you have nearly all the Neopian worlds to choose from! However, before you jump the gun and buy land in Faerieland, you need to think about your budget.
Getting a Lot
First off you have to get your land to build on. Now u can spend 25,000 points on a fairly land, or spend 1,000 points on a Neopian Central land that will, in the long run, look the same. Your choice, but because this is to have a Great but affordable NeoHome I suggest you go with the Neopian Central land.
Ok now I know that a lot of people have hallways. But really what’s the point of them? Think about it…how much time do u spend in the hallways of your home? I’ll tell you, besides actually going to a room, none. You mostly spend your time actually in a room. Yes it might not make clear sense that you have not made a way for your pets to get to each room. But really in the long run you will save points by just leaving out the hallways which would just turn into a run-down square.
When designing a neohome, you must know what you’re doing. You need big money to make a good, decent NeoHome. What I suggest you do is buy a lot on Mystery Island. The cheapest is Neopia *yawn* but its boooooring. Lost Desert-for me, outta the question. Too expensive for my likes, and though exotic, too HOT!!!! Terror Mountain-Not for me either, too many people can’t get a decent heating system. Haunted Woods-I guess, but when you consider that they have their own hotel Cockroach Towers, and its well… downright scary, best give it a miss. Tyrannia-not bad, just of you decide to go live there, be sure you can stand the stench of dung, and, well, I couldn’t. Faerieland-Discouragingly expensive, but it is a really good place to live, and really the only bad thing about it is the cost of living there. Again, I suggest Mystery Island. Its a good place, not really costly, and a good idea for any pet cause the temperature is not an issue, neither is the cost, or the furnishings or buildings of neighbors. I suggest you start by building a ring on the outside of the lot, a total of 14 squares. Use wood for 11 of the rooms, stone for a security room, and chocolate for the two rooms of the kitchen. Put your pet’s rooms in appropriate places, like I have a Uni, Peophin and Kacheek, My uni is going to have a tower to fly from, and my kacheek gets a garden, and I don’t know about my peophin yet. Well anyway, starting in the top left corner, and spiraling downward, number off the rooms 1 thru 20. Then put down those numbers in order straight down the left side of the floor plan and write what furnishings to add to your neohome rooms beside the numbers, each representing a room with the same number. But first write in the boxes on your floor plan, what each room will be. The total cost will be 5000 np for the wood, and about 600 for stone, 700 or so for chocolate, making the total cost of the NeoHome and rooms roughly 10,000 np. Then when you take into consideration the upgrades, there’s another 10,000 np, plus say 10,000 or so np into furniture and gardening supplies, thats 30,000 np on making your NeoHome. So don’t make a NeoHome unless you have 30,000 np TO SPARE. – angelic_lil_cutie303
Here you’ll find the way to make a neohome. It will take time and some planning, but you could make your neohome the best on the block.
Planning and Saving
Before you start to make your neohome you need to decide on many things.
1. Where is you neohome going to be located? There are many locations you can choose to have your neohome at. Choose the one that fits you. I am personally saving for FaerieLand.
2. How much is it going to cost me? It depends on where you are going to live and how many rooms you are planning to have. Estimate 50,000 or more for a decent size and nicely decorated neohome.
